1. Assists ADMA-OPCO Public Health Inspector (PHI) enforcing policies, procedures and code of practices of HSEQ and HACCP within Das Island community
2. Assists PHI in maintaining certification of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, 22000 and HACCP
3. Assists PHI during incident investigations using appropriate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools to aid in eliminating any nonconformities
4. Maintains a constant liaison with enforcing agencies (ADFCA, ADEA, HAAD) and clients representative ( ADNOC, ADMA-OPCO and ADGAS)
5. Conducting and participating in workplace inspection and audits ( first, second party and Behavioural Safety program STOP)
6. Ensures company complies with applicable legal requirements and clients standards to protect health and ensure safety of workers, visitors, subcontractors and the general community
7. Managing subcontractors to ensure compliance with company and client’s HSEQ standards
8. Participation in conducting and reviewing HSEQ and HACCP risk assessments
9. Producing and analysing the HSEQ performance reports
10. Provide support in developing and maintaining the operational budget of PHS department
11. Assists PHI in planning and execution of planned evacuation drills on periodic basis
12. Assists PHI in enforcing chemical safety and inventory management procedures
13. Assists PHI in developing and delivering public health and safety educational programs
14. Assists PHI in monitoring waste management system, general hygiene and sanitation
15. Assists PHI in monitoring and controlling public health nuisances through health surveillance of premises
16. Assists PHI in the surveillance and prevention of communicable diseases within das island community
17. Assists PHI in monitoring port health by inspecting imported consignments to the port of entry
18. Assists PHI in monitoring water and food quality
19. Monitoring and controlling Integrated Pest Management system
1. Providing support in implementing and maintaining certification of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, 22000 and HACCP management systems
2. Providing support in developing, implementing and reviewing all documents (policies, manual, procedures) related to HSEQ and HACCP plan
3. Compiling and reporting work activity and progress reports on HSEQ and HACCP performance to the management
4. Liaising with enforcement bodies, clients, suppliers and contractors on HSEQ or HACCP related matters
5. Provide support in developing and maintaining the budget for the operation of the HSEQ department
6. Provide support with the bid documents (HSEQ and HACCP aspects ) during the tendering process
7. Provide mobilization support to all new on-sites to ensure HSEQ standards are met
8. Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing emergency response procedures and evacuation plans
9. Participating in the investigation of complaints, accidents and near misses using an appropriate RCA tools and prepare lessons learned report
10. Conducting risk assessments and ensuring the risk register is up to date
11. Conducting and participating in audits and workplace inspections to verify if policies and procedures are being effectively implemented
12. Keeping records of inspections or audit findings and producing reports that suggest continual improvements of the management systems such as discrepancy reports, non-compliance reports, corrective and preventive reports
13. Conducting training and awareness programs for staff and sub-contractors ensuring awareness of all policies, manual, procedures, regulations, evacuation and policies as per company’s training matrix
14. Monitoring the effectiveness of Integrated Pest Management Program
15. Monitoring the waste management program (solid and liquid waste) to ensure that it’s in line with the local authority waste management guidelines
16. Taking samples of food and water for routine microbiological or chemical analysis
• Prepare all samples as defined in the sampling procedure e.g. Sample dilution, sample preparation, sample enrichments and isolation of bacteria
• Conduct microbiological analyses of food, water and environmental specimens for the detection of pathogenic and spoilage organisms
• Recording and interpretation of results in an ISO 17025 compliant manner
• Set up, adjust, maintain and clean, disinfect or sterilize laboratory equipment as required;
• Assisting in carrying out work related to new testing methodologies and validation
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all laboratory procedures conducted
• Maintain Good Laboratory practices
• Maintain quality control measures and procedures for relevant laboratory procedures
• Trouble shooting and suggests solutions challenging testing situations
• Assist and partake in proficiency testing
• Environmental and hygienic monitoring of laboratory by doing hygiene swabs testing, scheduling and improvements in procedures, highlighting issues as necessary
• Collation and analysis of results highlighting any areas of non-compliance with product specifications and conducting root-cause analysis for micro quality deviations obtained
• Ensuring inventories of laboratory supplies and stocks, order supplies and stocks as needed
• Assist in maintaining the certification in line with ISO 17025 and other company standards
• Promotion and maintaining of positive health and safety culture within the organization

2. Media preparation, sample dilution, sample preparation, sample enrichments and isolation of bacteria,
3. Sterilization testing media, interpretations of results, recording of results.
4. Setting up, calibrating, maintaining and cleaning of laboratory equipment.
5. Maintains and organized lab, oil analysis test, Checking brix, PH, clarity of juice concentrate on final and raw materials.
6. Recording test results accurately
7. Analyzing results to ensure consistency to specifications.
8. Recognize deviation, reporting them immediately and investigate the quality deviation by initiating corrective action such as doing required tests and compiling relevant reports.
