- Conducts safety trainings and seminars of all regular employees and contractors such as confine space entry, working in high places, lack-out/tag-out, machine guarding and etc.
- Conducts investigation of all accidents to ascertain causes and recommend countermeasures to prevent recurrence
- Provides advice in solving problems related to accident prevention and control
- Conducts periodic inspection of all safety devices/facilities as well as all firefighting equipment in coordination with each division and the Plant Safety Committee.
- Formulates and updates company safety program
- Responsible for the safety inspection of all company contractors before and after the projects.
- Coordinates and discusses with other departments on matter related to safety and health program.
- Performs other related jobs that may be assigned from time to time.
- Consult outside organizations to keep abreast of the latest developments in Health, Safety and Environmental matters
- Undertake audits and assessments to meet Company and Legislative requirements.
- Monitor and review operations on Health & Safety and Environmental Systems.
- Participate, develop and maintain Health & Safety and Environmental Systems in conjunction with local Management.
- Harmonize current HSE systems with the intention of minimizing duplication and cost.
- Establish and operate systems to ensure that Employees are kept fully informed of changes in HSE policies and legal requirements.
- To assist with the monitoring of non-conformances to ensure that improvement actions are taken in a timely and effective manner.
- To assist in the Company’s driven to maintain accreditation and certification status in chosen fields.
- To assist in the assessment and review of sub-contractors and suppliers by audit, questionnaire or performance records in order to maintain the Approved Suppliers / Sub-Contractors Lists.
- Assist line management in the investigation of all incidents and equipment failures and maintain records for these.
- Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health & Safety Policy, Environmental policy and Quality system.

Conduct Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS) report.
Inspection of MAK DIESEL ENGINE 16CM32 engine spare parts.
Responsible in the inspections and measurements for tolerance area of nozzle ring, turbine diffuser, piston crown, cylinder liner, cylinder head and other engine auxiliaries.
Monitoring and conduct Engine Performance (exhaust gas temperature and combustion pressure)
Responsible in the monitoring of running hours of engine parts and auxiliaries.
Responsible in all technical reports as required by planning engineer
