• Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with the other heads of departments to establish a new and modernised integrated management system / improve the existing one.
• Help bring the work culture of the organisation to higher professional standards.
• Co-lead (Along with the QHSE Director) the implementation of a new Project Management and Controls System, including the coordination with the software suppliers, workflow charts of the various processes in different departments and their correlation and integration in the new project management software, the training process, and the transition from the existing ERP System.
• Establish a new cost control procedure for the organisation based on the working / proposed processes in the company and the recognised best practices of the industry to ensure an efficient control process and accurate cost reporting.
• Leading the effort on preparing the cost claims of projects under arbitration.
• Preparing various dashboard on the performance of the projects using MS Power BI™ to the senior management.
• Lead the cost control team responsible for budgeting, reporting, and controlling the cost aspects of the companys projects.
• Advise the project managers and directors on contractual and commercial issues arising in their projects, and the Estimation and Proposals department on the current productivity and supply rates.

• Responsibilities:
• Budgeting new projects and Variation Orders (Including Main contracts and Subcontracts / Subcontractor Offers review and comments).
• Managing and mentoring junior and mid-level Cost and Project Controls staff.
• Project Cost Reporting using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• Project Closeout Reporting, lessons learnt, updated norms & rates, etc…
• Advise and assist the Project Management Team to deliver their projects within the approved budget and duration through contributing to establishing, maintaining, and updating their Risk Registers.
• Establishing a proper and efficient Document Control system.
• Management, Portfolio, and Business-Level Reporting and Analysis.
• Pre-Award Duties; Involvement in Tenders and Proposals preparation, preparing Tender schedules and Technical Submissions, Project Execution Plans, etc…
• Any further ad-hoc analyses to refine the outcomes of the tasks mentioned above and improve the existing Cost Control practices in the company.
