Job Tasks:
1. Auditing the structural design and civil works for Dubai Municipality projects at General Projects Department starting from feasibility study and concept design stage, preliminary design and final design until tender stage for various projects from minor to mega scale projects. My responsibility to review drawings, design calculations, BOQ, general and particular specifications, geotechnical reports and all project documents including coordination with Architectural & MEP drawing.
2. Preparing the structural design drawings, calculations and specifications for in-house projects.
3. Reviewing the material submittals, shop drawings, calculations and method of statement.
4. Follow up the structural issues of the projects at site, discussing and tackling the defects of construction when happened.
5. Practicing the value engineering for projects, choosing the most optimum structural system that lead to reduce the budget of projects.
6. Applying the green building regulations of Dubai Municipality (SAFAT) which contribute in sustainability.
7. Applying Dubai Municipality code of special needs for easy accessibility to all facilities.
