Currently working at Pace as a Structural Design Engineer.
-Preparing Structural Drawings & models using Etabs2016, SAFE2016, SAP2000 and a beginner on Revit 2016.
-Preparing calculation sheets for Foundation such as footing foundations.
-Reviewing the structural drawings and calculations provided by the contractor through our client and comment on minor changes if needed. In some cases, major changes are necessarily, therefore, a new structural design would be provided by us to coordinate with the local regulations, environment and requirements.
-Preparing reports and presentations when needed for any on going projects.
-Coordination between other disciplines within a project.

-Followed the maintenance contracts for departments which belongs to the Council of Minister outside Seif Palace.
-Attended meetings and reported the progress of the extension of Al Seif Palace project.
-Did a weekly site visits with an engineer to the contractors areas to report the progress and if there is any issues needs to be solved.

Holiday Internship
• Attended meetings with construction structural and civil engineers on and off site to review
progress and agree modifications to project and build schedule.
• Attended workshops, which outlined the project in detail and methods used to construct
bridges from off-site concrete curing before on site installation.
• Visited production site of pre-fabricated bridges segments and then construction sites where
concrete components were installed within overall bridge project.

Shadowed civil engineering team working on National Bank of Kuwait Headquarters
Project. Observed and supported as appropriate, co-ordination work by team on & offsite.
• Attended daily and weekly meetings with structural, construction engineers and team to
review progress and resolve on-site problems and issues.
• Learnt new methods and techniques used on high-rise buildings and towers to overcome
challenges facing them during construction process and for the lifetime of the project.
• Maintaining contact with engineering team after internship to keep updated about project
progress.
• Visited the construction site several times since the internship to ascertain current stage
reached and understand any significant changes during construction.
• Trained how to read plans and drawings and how they were originally created on chosen
software.
• Learnt a lot about the design, challenges and the construction process of Al-Hamra Tower,
the tallest building in Kuwait and the 23rd tallest in the world, which was also constructed
by the same company.
