Position: Structural Engineer at site offices (with main contractor)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Providing calculation reports if required (for any action on site not considered in the design drawings/for design changes) using SAFE, ETABS.
• Liaising with other professionals (architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, site engineers).
• Guiding subcontractors to produce shop drawings as per requirements.
• Ensuring that the detailed drawings meet the design drawings.
• Providing technical advice for site engineers if required.
• Preparing/Revising bar bending schedules.
• Applying to Dubai Municipality for site inspection works.
Project Held:
• Forte Development: Forte is a two-tower residential development situated in Downtown Dubai. The scope of work includes the construction of 5 basements, 5 podiums, 67 floors for Tower 1, 42 floors for Tower 2. Client: Emaar; Consultant: AECOM; Cost: $312million.
Worked under the supervision of senior structural engineer on the structural design of several
residential buildings and villa situated in Lebanon.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Development and validation of customized spreadsheets based on ACI building code requirements.
• Teamwork and coordination with other disciplines for efficient integrated design for the best interest of the project.
• Preparation of design drawings, shop drawings, and bar bending schedules.
• Analysis and design for basic structural components.
• Lateral (static and dynamic) analysis of a structure.
Projects Held:
• Botanica Hotel/Project: Touristic development located in Seychelles Islands including Hotel, Villas, Hillside Apartments, Plateau Town Houses and Club House. Critical design considerations relate to soil-structure interaction due to the topography of the site, the nature of the soil and the rainy weather all-year round (high precipitation levels).
• Saifi 912 Building: Structural retrofitting of an historic (G+3) residential building. Works include strengthening of vertical and horizontal elements through jacketing.
• Roumieh 2982: Preparation of design drawings, shop drawings and bar bending schedules for a multi-story industrial building located in Roumieh, Lebanon.
• Riyadh Project: Replacement of steel barriers by concrete barriers for 23 interchanges in Riyadh, K.S.A. Scope of work includes design, detailing, fixation, assessment of available as-built data.
