1. Providing technical, management, and supervision oversight for Concernâs livelihoods and skills development interventions.
2. Develop a program that utilization of gained transferable skills in the camps Diversified vocational skills development and sustainable
livelihood options that are based on robust market assessment
3. Providing the technical strategic direction for livelihoods, and skills development programming, including an adaptation of the
emergency response strategy accordingly.
4. Preparation of concept notes, proposals, and budgets for new grants for livelihoods, skills development as well as Livelihood and Skill
Development Framework
5. Coordination of SEIP & livelihoods projectsâ start-up activities across Concern program, MEAL, logistics, HR, finance, and
government liaison departments, for timely project kick-off
6. Leadership of livelihoods, skills development activities monitoring to ensure quality across both Concern and partner organizations
as appropriate
7. Coordination of program adaption to emergencies including alignment of implementation modalities especially during monsoons and
cyclones.
8. Ensuring the integration of principles of accountability, equality, inclusion, gender, protection, DRR, and conflict sensitivity are
inbuilt into projects and upheld during implementation.
9. Leading on the capturing of the impact of the livelihoods, and skills development projects in Concern as well as across relevant
sectors.
10. Coordination of the preparation of high-quality project activity and financial reports for both internal and donor purposes, within
agreed timelines
11. Explore and support synergies with other projects within and outside Concern in the same operational areas for improved impact
for the poorest most vulnerable people
12. Capacity Building
13.Coordination of the livelihoods, and skills development training including development and/or adaption of context-specific training
materials and training techniques targeting.
14. Carry out training and build the capacity of Concern staff and partners in all aspects of cash-based and/or market-based
programming, including for implementation, adaptation, monitoring, and evaluation of market-based and cash-based programming.
15.Technical support supervision of national partner organizations working with Concern on the livelihoods, skills development, and
other related projects.
16.Coordination and Advocacy
17.Ensuring technical coordination of project performance and project operations with consortium partners and national partner
organizations working with Concern
18.Coordinate and develop linkages with other sector staff in including, nutrition and health ensure internal coordination allowing the
maximum positive impact
19.Tracking and dissemination of learning and innovations, and using them as advocacy points to inform the direction of livelihoods
strategy.
20. Collaborate with relevant sectors or NGO platforms on other evidence-based advocacy initiatives for the humanitarian response for
improved quality of life of both camp and host communities, and/or the project implementation environment.
21. Responsible for overall leadership in planning, designing, and implementing the project and will be responsible for delivering high-quality
results in line with the project outcomes.
22. Ensuring the quality and integrity of implementation, including adherence to technical guidelines, administrative systems, and
established deadlines
23. Develop evaluation tools, procedures, monitoring tools, and processes based on developed implementation.
1.Supervise and monitor in designing and developing of the skills development programs of MAIT Polytechnic
2.Develop technical proposal, MoU, reports, budget, annual work plan, and other relevant documents 3.Assist supervisor to raise funds
for the TVET sector of MAIT
4.Organize and conduct training on CBTA national certificate level-IV for TVET teachers, trainers and assessors
5.Assist supervisor to research and identify skills demand to raise funds
6.Organize and conduct events, meetings, workshops, and seminar for the TVET sector with BTEB, NSDA, ISCs, donors, and VTIs, as
when required
7.Monitor and Supervise the polytechnic training, staff, and budget, and ensure the quality of VTIs training
8.Develop Competency standards, curricula, competency-based learning materials, or related materials to the TVET learning materials
9.Assist supervisor to ensure the quality of TVET programs through mitigating the donor requirement
10.Assist supervisor to maintain the donor for the ongoing and upcoming TVET and Skills development programs
11.Assist in developing a business plan, 5 years work plan, and strategic plan of MAIT
12.Ensure job placement for all graduates
13.Assist in partnering with related industries, agencies, and other organizations.
14.Any other tasks to perform as assigned by the authority
15.Monitor and supervise all programs of the polytechnic institute.
16.Organize and conduct RPL assessments for all occupations periodically.
17.Operate the development programs with special focus on Polytechnic and TVET program.
18.Establish the polytechnic courses of BTEB.
19.Communicate with the BTEB and other stakeholder.
20.Team facilitation and mentoring skill.
21.Prepare annual reporting and representation.
22.Coordinate and communicate and well conversant in English language.
