Worked with largest and oldest fish processing Semi-Government Company in the Sultanate of Oman, having workforce of 600 employees along with 10 processing plants, three international contracts manufacturing facility in UAE, Yemen and, Bahrain, with ten retail outlets across the Sultanate of Oman.
Key Results:
• Development and execution of human resources policies, procedures, and improved efficiency. Ensure policies/ procedures, are complied with local labor law and ISO requirements.
• Managed recruitment and selection, including developed recruitment plans, job descriptions/ specification, role and goals and ensures positions are filled within the timelines by devising cost-effective hiring strategies.
• Performed all administrative tasks for new arrivals including visa, ticket, accommodation, and transport arrangements. Managed orientation, induction, probation evaluation and agreement formulation.
• Acted as a first point of contact for HR/admin related queries internally and externally.
• Revised job descriptions across all levels and 25+ categories, and interviewed employees to construct an accurate picture of the duties and skills required for each position.
• Processed monthly payroll accurately, by compiling summaries of earnings, social insurances, deductions, leave, disability, overtime and prepared needed payroll reports for the finance department and management.
• Managed full cycle of performance management process, act as a custodian of effective performance management practices and ensure that performance management is standardized.
• Developed and executed training plans, in coordination with line managers to identify individual development needs and source external training provision as and when required, monitored training costs against budget. Executed ISO training programs, recommended, nominated trainees and formulated reports.
• Managed and processed Company’s health insurance policies through processing the contract renewal, negotiations, and claims reimbursement. Supervised and reduced monthly medical cost of blue color staffs.
• Produced comprehensive reports such as: MIS report, annual workforce planning and budgeting, HR audit, annual leave plan, designed, and implementation of continuous development plans of the organization.
• Managed and reduced HR expenses through negotiation and supervision skills, such as training cost, recruitment, insurance, travel, office inventories, medical and ensure not exceed the approved budget.
• Ensure smooth departure/separation through timely preparation of leave settlement, final settlement, handover, and clearance process for employees proceeding on leaves or end of service.
