Nazarbayev University was founded by the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The University aims to develop into a research university of international renown combining education, research and innovation. Nazarbayev University will educate the future generations of leaders of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other countries in science, public administration and various professions, thus contributing to the future development of the country.
NU has been a part of Kazakhstan’s larger education reform agenda and it was given a task to disseminate experience to regional Universities in Kazakhstan. Translation of NU experience is carried out on a regular basis through training, seminars, workshops, including at the annual Eurasian Higher Education Leaders Forum. In 2017 NU created a special office to disseminate its experience.

Responsibilities:
Implementation of long-term planning of international activities, formation of cooperation agreements with foreign universities and organizations;
Monitoring the implementation of plans, programs and agreements on international cooperation; monitoring the results and effectiveness of international cooperation and external relations;
Reconciliation and legal registration of long-term and other cooperation agreements with foreign partners;
Proposals for the development and improvement of international activities.
Communication support with public authorities (Embassies, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Education, etc.)
Communication with international organizations, national professional organizations
Organization and implementation of advertising and marketing work
The premise of the Master of International Business program is to understand and address the challenges presented by globalisation in a business context.
