Carry out MEP maintenance including all MEP systems and related equipment of RTA assets, Mechanical system maintenance including Air-conditioning systems, elevators, pumps, generators, Electronic systems maintenance including Audio-visual systems, public address systems, communication systems (UHS/VHS radios), car parking barriers, automatic sliding doors and shutters, Office Appliances and Equipment including refrigerators, washing machines, cookers etc., and Fire Fighting and Fire Detection Systems Maintenance.
Supervise and control the preventive and corrective maintenance program and work quality of all RTA facilities and equipment’s.
Assists in develop and implement MEP maintenance plans to achieve these goals based on current and expected performance within specifications
Allocate, supervise and control Mechanical engineering and Electrical engineering outsourcing consultant and contractors to provide a high standard level of facility operations.
Ensure the implementation of suitable life safety system for RTA facilities, ensure the system will be connected with the civil defense and the maintenance schedule has been served as per the high standards and procedures.
Conduct regular work reports to the facility operation & maintenance manager explaining the details of implementing the department work programs concerning facility operations areas.
Provide optimum operating efficiency for the systems and equipment and Perform cost-benefit analysis of systems and retrofit proposals.
Audit and provide reports for the repair and maintenance activities whilst executed by the maintenance contractors to ensure compliance to External Maintenance Office (EMO) recommendations, Contract terms and the QHSE standards.
Monitor and analyses all work orders generated for the maintenance activities and ensure the maintenance data is accurate on MAXIMO system
Check the conditions of mechanical systems and give the recommendation regarding the system needs major repairs or rehabilitation, based on the daily/monthly/quarterly report submitted by the maintenance contractors and specialized subcontractors and the assessment reports submitted by specialized consultants
Ensure that contractors are using approved materials while carrying out maintenance and rehabilitation works for road structures.
Reviewing the drawings, documents and calculations prior to releasing NOC for any works nearby or in conflict with RTA structures.
Updating the specifications of the material according to the experience and previous performance of each material and incorporating it with the properties of the new products that add more value in the structure protection/performance.
Design project and project supervision for mechanical part HVAC system, water supply, drainage, firefighting system and LPG system as per clients request and authority specification to make sure that projected designs match their needs.
Identifying the area of high energy consuming sources and designing and developing energy efficient processes in such areas
Evaluating energy efficiency by reviewing architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans, consulting the engineers for installation of energy efficient systems like climate control systems, day lighting design, etc., and preparing technical reports for implementation of energy efficient designing
Project supervision and coordination with clients, architects, vendors and contractors to make sure the project will finish as per site program schedule and comply with specification.
Review project contract document, project specification, vendor list and bill of quantity.
Control a project from start to finish including material selection, approved shop drawing, site inspections and project meeting.
Looking for authorities approval (DM, DEWA, DCD etc..) and discuss with them engineers during project.
