The James, Ohio State University Medical Center New Cancer Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, USA
A $1.1B and 1.1M ft2 21-story cancer and critical care tower designed to accommodate 348 inpatient beds, 252 acute care
beds, 24 bone marrow transplant beds, and 72 critical care beds, 14 operating rooms, 6 interventional radiology suites, and
7 linear accelerators for radiation therapy with BIM for above ceiling MEP
• Assisted the superintendent of the tower (Level 14 ~ 21) 40’000 sq. ft. each
• Inspected above ceiling for confirmation with structural and electrical regulations and standards
• Tracked the progress of the trades and created a summary tracker
• Analyzed the schedule of a one story critical path to identify and categorize delays using Primavera P6
• Participated in the schedule update and follow-up using Primavera P6
• Attended the scheduling meetings with the project managers
• Prepared the internal punch lists and walked with the architects preparing the final punch lists
• Followed-up with the subcontractors on completing the punch lists
• Supervised and managed low-rise private residential buildings with total of 3750 m2
• Followed-up on approval process with authorities to ensure plans were ready for construction
• Prepared the contract documents between the owner and the contractors, trades and suppliers
• Inspected, took-off quantities and approved all contractors work; excavation, reinforced concrete, masonry, finishing, etc.
• Managed the procurement of the materials to sites
• Balanced the books of the projects

• Inspected scaffolding, reinforcement, water-proofing, stone and plastering

• Acquired the occupancy permit from the authorities for the project

• Prepared a preliminary design for the water pressurized line from the Dead Sea to Amman in the prefeasibility study of the Red
Sea - Dead Sea Canal Project of The World Bank
• Improved the AutoCAD drafting LISP of sewer lines profile
