Job Responsibilities
• Worked in collaboration with the senior project manager to define project goals and establish a timeline and plan to achieve them.
• Worked closely with project managers and engineers to ensure project needs were fulfilled and budgets were honored
• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions/Variations to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports to Manager
• Prepare technical drawings / Shop Drawings as per specifications of Project to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
• Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
• Design, implement, maintain, or improve Electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, or domestic purposes.
• Prepare Procurement Logs for purchases of materials or equipment.
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications.
• Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Plan or implement research methodology or procedures to apply principles of electrical/Mechanical theory to engineering projects.
• Compile data and write reports regarding existing or potential electrical engineering studies or projects.
• Supervise or train project team members as necessary.
• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
• Direct and supervise workers.
• Train Supervisors in use of equipment such as switchers, Lighting Fixtures, Medium voltage and Low Voltage Panels
• Monitored Compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC Policies, Performance standards and specifications.
• Preparation of Material submittals, Method statements, Operation and Maintenance manual, Commissioning Manual and handing over documents for completion of project.
• Approvals from Authority, Kahramaa/Ashghal or Civil defense
• Monitor installation of plumbing, wiring, equipment, or appliances to ensure that installation is performed properly and is in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Approve and sign plans that meet required specifications.
• Inspect and monitor construction sites to ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, or specifications.
