Manage time, finances, equipment and human resources to successfully provide a diverse client base with high quality services in a timely manner. perform land development construction layout for commercial, residential, institutional and public projects. Interface with multi disciplinary teams to manage project tasks in Planning, Land development, Remote sensing, GIS, Geomatics, Environmental studies, Administration, Business Economics. Resultant cognate experience built up in extensive business, contractual, cultural(local issues), technical and regulatory knowledge of land development with the attendant surveys, construction, environmental and land use planning Manage fairly complex workloads and critical timelines.
This includes:
Onshore surveying -terrestrial and GPS-based including onshore topo surveys for seismic support in tropical swamp environment; Surveys for Land acquisition/Engineering development; Database design & management; Remote sensing - Image processing & analysis, use of GIS and Geo-referencing support on EIA/Engineering projects.
SEISMIC for Oil & Gas exploration : Provide mapping and fieldwork QA/QC support for seismic acquisition campaign run and managed by Company Geophysics team.
Contract management
a) In consultation with Team leaders develop Contractor tariff structure for survey services and plan Contractor invoicing schedules.
b) Plan services in SAP and raised service sentries.
c) As Company Site Representative and or Contract Holder on SPDC contracts, liaise with Contracts, Finance and third party contractor teams to carry out duties as defined in the SPDC Contract Management Guidelines and Policy.:- Participate in all premob audits/ meetings for contracts as set up.
Land locations surveys
Ensure all surveying and mapping of land & Swamp locations are carried out in line with the Geomatics specification/Quality Well Delivery Program..
Mapping support
Provide Mapping / Positioning support services for Surface Engineering and Wells drilling in Western Swamp Area.
OTHERS
• Serve as expert witness in court on litigation claims cases
• Advise Geological, Engineering & Land Administration customers on Geomatics matters.
• Directe field acquisition geo-data to georeference sample points and other items of interest on ESHIA projects. -(Integrated Environmental, Social, Health Impact Assessment data capture and management
• Implemented HSSE Policy, plans on contract crews, including meeting yearly HSE-MS Audit schedules.
• Use of SAP business systems for financial management of Contractors.
• Health, safety, security & environmental (HSSE) skills -Building HSE-MS (management systems), Project specific and contract HSSE plans
• .Database management methods and initiatives for qualitative decision making support, control and tracking.
• Mentoring for performance.
• Communication and presentation skills; -moderate/facilitate inter-disciplinary project meetings, memo's/slides to persuade, inform, canvass position, participate in trade/technology fairs.
Develop skills in Image processing and deliver assigned Remote sensing projects under direction and supervision of expert analyst
Oversee data collation on Oil spill Incidents, historical and as investigated on a continuing basis.
Provide assistance to Environmental studies team by interfacing with Geomatics GIS and Remote sensing units

Responsibilities and Basic work description:
• Industrial Development Laboratory -
Assisted research team on Software development, then on old school Fortran and Basic plus programs.
• Landmark Surveys-
Initially assisted Party leader on field surveys, and subsequently went on to carry out various Cadastral and Lots-Sub-divisioning surveys. Participated in Photo-pointing/groundtruthing exercises for photogrammetric mapping.
• JV Duffy Ltd -
Carried out surveys to set out center lines and road boundaries, produce topographic center line profiles and other elevation data, emplace control benchmark monuments with established XYZ coordinated for controlling construction work. Supervised about ten odd persons.
• AEC Engineering Consultants -
Served as supervising QA/QC surveyor on topographic works carried out on road construction projects carried out under World Bank sponsorship.
• Terino Surveys-
Party Leader in charge of Survey work crews carrying out Oil & Gas pipeline Right of way surveys for multi-national oil companies; Government new towns development and Layouts -(i.e. land parcellation surveys), Control extension surveys (including DGPS), .
• Prakla Seismos Geophysical-
Party Leader in charge of Survey work crews carrying out topographic surveys in support of Seismic prospecting crews. Setting out grid pattern of lines to be shot to meet specified accuracy and producing final SPS data for harmonization with seismology data.
• Orweyn Nig Services -
Party Chief and acting Chief Surveyor directing crews working on Pipeline Right-of-way surveys and cadastral services. Served as Claims consultant, Litigations surveyor and expert witness in Court cases. Served as Topographic survey consultant and QA/QC supervisor on Seismic crews under contract to Total (Nigeria) Oil company
produced final year project report titled "on the use of aposteriori adjustment parameters of control densification networks to evaluate the accuracy of the primary system" (Sept,1988). Notable in this effort was the use of scarce computer resource (then in 1988) requiring spending night time hours on an Apple II pc. To deliver this project, I had to develope subroutines to bypass the internal arithmetic configuration of the AppleII PC as it did not have sufficient precision to handle cumbersome geodetic computations.
