1- Being a Telecom Representative Maintenance Engineer for Plant Paging, Public Address and Radio systems. Including laying out design plans for the whole system each for a specific scenario or requirement.
o Part of the design stage, I had to be knowledgeable of each product and how to best utilize its features, so they fit altogether seamlessly. (Bosch PA system products)
o I was also fully responsible for those systems by keeping them maintained through monthly check-up routines resolving any issue that may arise. Either by being there myself or remotely overseeing the maintenance team. In addition, it was my responsibility to keep the systems monitored at all times through a dedicated software.
o Integrated existing systems with new ones for both PA and PP Telecom Systems using effective and up-to-date techniques.
o Conducted site survey on All KNPC locations including three Refineries: MAA-MAB-SHU as well as Depots: Subhan, LM and Ahmadi Depots whereas Telecommunications system are installed for Maintenance and other purposes.
2- As part of KNPC Telecom team, I took my turn to handle mobile lines invoices including auditing them for any possible mismatches or errors. Then submitting them to their designated providers.
3- Apart from my role as Representative Maintenance Engineer. I had frequent engagements with several vendors to coordinate and deliver KNPC’s precise requirements.
4- In addition, Systems enhancement processes has led me on many occasions to get involved with network teams to resolve networking issues.
5- I was involved in laying out the technical specifications and design philosophy of the new Gas Plant Project in MAA refinery; Modernization of Plant Communication (Paging) System at GPCCR Plants.
6- Skills’ Area that have been improved:
* Being very much familiar with upgrading software version, configuring and starting up Bosch products that belong to Public Address family members in case of new project or integrated one.
* Familiar with IBM application as Maximo for variety of usage.
* Familiar with Optical Fiber Cables for Telecom infrastructure and using OTDR for
testing the integrity of FOC.
* Networking knowledge.
* Bosch systems.
* Developed excellent problem solving skill.
* Tenacious and team worker.
