Project Name and brief description: Seplat Liquid treatment facility (LTF) -Feed
The facility which is located in the western Niger Delta is expected to be constructed and operated by January 1, 2013. Seplat owns a 45 per cent stake and is the operation of the producing licenses of OML’s 04, 38 and 41 located in the above area. The other stakeholder is Nigerian Petroleum Development Corporation (NPDC) which owns the remaining 55 per cent of the licenses.
The company’s operations area covered by the licenses comprises the Sapele, Oben, Amukpe and Ovhor fields.
Currently, wet crude is expected from Seplat flow stations of Sapele, Oben and Amukpe for processing at the SPDC Forcados Terminal. The LTF is to be designed to deliver export quality crude into the transmission line at the Sapele Manifold as defined by the Crude Handling Agreement (CHA).
