Ensuring the smooth running of the IT operations in the field, including user support, IT systems, domain services, communications, and connectivity.
Monitoring upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems;
Managing crises, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
Providing guidance and support to field office IT staff as they perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks on the servers, PCs, and other devices;
Network configuration assessments and implementing hardware/software upgrades and improvements.
Implementing backup procedures in the field and ensure their proper application;
Planning and executing technology projects and system implementations in the field in an organized and effective manner. Establishing project scopes, goals, timelines, resources, and deliverables that support business goals and tracking projects progress;
Assisting field office IT staff in planning and managing new office build-outs and office moves;
Mentoring and training IT staff in the field;
Planning and developing IT budgets for field offices, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost-effectiveness;
Working with field office IT staff on maintaining up-to-date documentation of IT infrastructure and equipment in each field office;
Recommending information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements;
Developing and implementing new IT procedures in the field and reviewing and enhancing existing processes;
1. Ensure ongoing continual improvement to all aspects of Information & Communication Technology within the organization, regularly reviewing policies related to ICT and their alignment to overall organizational strategy;
2. Manages, hires, monitors, evaluates, coaches and enhances the performance of IT staff;
3. Oversees the administration of the organization LAN and WAN, including compute layer, storage layer, and network layer;
4. Manage all ICT related projects, ensuring effective change management, communication and implementation takes place;
5. Provide financial and budgetary information and forecast for all costs relating to ICT;
6. Manage, maintain and ensure compliance of IT policies within the organization;
7. Ensure appropriate IT governance and controls are in place ensuring compliance with regulatory controls;
8. Keep abreast of latest developments in technology, ensuring the organization plans adequately for changes in technology and do not become late-adopters;
9. Regular reporting to Director of Operations and HQ IT, providing clarity on the state of the ICT Infrastructure and ongoing strategic direction of the ICT environment;
10. Monitor and maintain all ICT infrastructure, tracking availability and uptime and reporting on anomalies and potential risks;
11. Provide after hours and weekend support as and when required, always being on standby in the event of any incidents that affects operations from an ICT perspective.

1. Provides technical direction for development, design, and systems integration;
2. Reviews the work involved and follows the project through testing and production deployment phases;
3. Ensures that there are technical procedures, documentations and standard policies put in place;
4. Ensures that the team performs within set technical guidelines by providing or co-authoring standard operating procedures;
5. Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business;
6. Preparing documentations and presenting progress reports to customers;
7. Lead the team into successful Enterprise projects implementations.
8. Assist sales team with enterprise products.
9. Provide on-site and remote support of customer networks/Systems and equipment as required.
