Duties
• Train project teams on BIM tools and methods
• Support tender teams in understanding BIM requirements.
• Organize knowledge exchange and training sessions.
• Develop BIM implementation plans and strategies.
• Create internal BIM standards for modeling tools and data exchange.
• Plan procedures for coordination and checks during the project.
• Manage model coordination, geometry checks, and clash detection.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in coordination meetings, establishes coordination agendas.
• Reviewing Mechanical and Electrical drawings, details, schedules, specifications and bill of quantities.
• Building 3D Mechanical and Electrical models according to the design drawings.

Laser scanning for the buildings using static and mobile laser scanners.
•Processing of laser scanners data to be used for constructing as-built 3D models for all disciplines.
•3D modelling of structural, architectural and MEP disciplines.
•Extracting as-built 2D plans, elevations and sections from the final 3D model.
•Exporting as-built quantities reports and applying all levels of controls to be used for facility management.
Reviewing MEP drawings, details, schedules, specifications and bill of quantities.
•Creating library according to 2D drawings and bill of quantities for building 3D model.
•Building 3D MEP model according to the design drawings.
•Co-ordination between different disciplines including structural, architectural and MEP elements.
•Detecting clashes and generates clash detection reports between Structural, Architectural and MEP.
•Provide engineering team with reasonable RFIs and assumptions.
•Exporting materials takeoff reports with the final quantities of the 3D model.
•Provide Control team with accurate quantities extracted from the constructed 3D model.
•Executing quality control procedures for the final 3D model files and documents before submission.
•Creating 2D Sections and 3D snapshots for supporting site engineers in the installation stage.
Generating Shop Drawings
•Leading a team of supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient running of the construction project.
•Preparing Weekly, Monthly and Master work schedules and monitoring the actual progress against the project schedule.
•Quantity Surveying based on shop drawings
•Planning the resources needed and activities in order to be performed in the targeted time.
•Co-ordination between Architectural, Structural drawings.
•Organizing works with the MEP department of Civil, Electrical and Architectural in order to drive the working cycle in the same direction.
•Calculation and preparation of the payment certificates
