o Installs, maintains, programs and repairs mobile, handheld radios and associated RF
Repeaters at various locations. Tests radio equipment using complex test gear to ensure
they are operating within manufacturer specs.
o Installs and maintains telephone systems such as Mitel SX2000 and Mitel ICP MXE 3300.
Includes the physical installation of telephones, and cross connect terminations. Maintains
PABX Systems (including Voice Mail) by making the required programming and
administrative changes.
o Installation, maintenance, audio level alignment of Ancillary equipment.
o Plan, Install and maintain Digital Microwave Systems between multiple Towers. Including
installing and programming of Microwave Transceivers and Dish alignment.
o Installs and maintains Camp Entertainment Systems (TV Satellite Decoders, Receivers,
Modulators and Cable Systems) at various locations including Drilling Rigs. Installs
satellite dish and receivers and aligns the dish to ensure appropriate reception.
o Performs routine preventative and repair maintenance on Communications Systems
utilizing complex test equipment such as Communications Monitors, Spectrum Analyzers,
Oscilloscopes and RF Power Meters.
o Installs and maintains wireless telephone links (Voice & Data) to remote locations such as
drilling rigs and temporary contractor sites.
o Install, routine troubleshooting and repair on various electronic equipment as required
including but not limited to closed circuit camera systems (CCTV), Emergency Siren
systems etc.
o Maintains, aligns and repairs Microwave Link Systems which include Digital Radios,
associated transmission lines, alarm control Systems and remote diagnostics.
o Installs, maintains and repairs Data Multiplexers from various manufactures.
o Maintains, aligns and repairs SCADA Communication Systems which include RF Data
Transceivers, RF Data Repeaters and associated control equipment. Analyze SCADA
Communication issues and resolve them.
o Installs, repairs, calibrates, trouble shoots configures and maintains all Regulatory Control
Systems within the plant facility.
o Performs Preventative and Corrective maintenance on Process Control equipment, PLC and
Data Acquisition Systems in accordance with manufacturers and Maintenance department
accepted industrial standards.

o Updates documentation related to Process Control Systems to ensure current data
accuracy. Analyzes Process Control Systems and where applicable recommends and or
implements improvements. Includes use of hand-tools and test equipment such as data
monitors, transmission testers, voltmeter, ohmmeter etc.
o As required, trouble shoots and repairs other equipment including but not limited to field
instrumentation, office equipment, and fire/gas detection systems etc.
o Maintain, align and repair complete Satellite Communication Earth Station such as vSAT
and Inmarsat Terminals.
o Install, maintain and repair complete solar power systems which supply power to various
radio sites.
o Install, maintain and repair complete data communication systems which include data
radio network, DSL link, DSU’s and CSU’s.
o Design and install complete LAN or WAN Network. Including configuring and subnetting
IPs, configuring and programming different LAN/WAN network Switches & Routers from
different manufacturers (such as CISCO and JUNIPER).
o Installing and splicing different cable types with their associated connectors including
(Optical Fibers, UTP Cables CAT-5 & 6, Telephone wires, and Microwave wires).
o Maintain the company cellular phones and accessories.
o Conducts Failure Analysis of the ESP (Electrical Submersible Pumps) equipment and reviews
Autograph software modeling of failures. Strives to identify the potential to extend ESP run
life. Also ensures ESP inspection and failure analysis reports are properly documented and
filed.
o Administers ESP run-life database. Monitors, checks and confirms equipment information in
the database for accuracy. Uses the database for future optimization, specifically to strive and
identify the most cost effective equipment/run life combination.
o Responsible for processing and updating ESP equipment data into ESP run-life database
(NEMS) in a daily basis; such as Updating Field Service Report and Inventory condition
coding and classification.
o Responsible for creating and, when required, editing reservations for staged ESP equipment
using SAP/ NEMS / MMS / PPMS and tracking staged equipment in NEMS.
o Create Purchase Requisitions for Motor / Pump / Seal or Consumable parts needed for the
ESP Workshop; and make sure the items will be delivered in a timely manner through C2C,
then update the Workshop parts Inventory sheet.
o Participates in inventory meetings with Production Engineering and ESP Maintenance for
routine reviews of all ESP related materials for establishing replenishment orders and
managing inventory MRP levels.
o Carry out Annual Inventory for ESP equipments in the ESP workshop to ensure that NEMS
database is accurate; and when necessary perform the required equipment transfer for ESP
equipments.
o Prepares Failure Analysis Summary Reports (FSR) prior to the ESP equipment being
inspected by the workshop and ensures the ESP dismantlement and Failure Analysis
reports are properly formatted. This includes collecting all relevant reports to ensure all
necessary information is available for determining root cause of ESP failures.
o Responsible for processing Pull and Run reports submitted by ESP Maintenance into NEMS
database and ensure equipments conformity to maintain system accuracy.
o Coordinates and processes documentation such as Shipping Manifest and Return Slip; for
moving equipment from/to ESP Repair shop and update data into NEMS database.
o Processes and manipulates all Workshop Work Orders, and update the data into NEMS;
then perform the necessary equipment transfer.
o Create, maintain, and publish QC packages and analysis reports.
o Draw PID, Isometric and any other related processes using AutoCAD.
o Monitors quality activities on Contractors Project, and Quality on Procurement Plans.
o Elaborate and coordinate the welding specifications, and codes/standards.
o Supervise & lead a group of pipe fitters and welders for the fabrication / erection of piping
and structures, and prepare pneumatic/hydrostatic test.
o Maintains documents for Quality Assurance / Quality Control program. Includes checking
drawings and piping to ensure dimensions are correct. Coordinates subsequent quality
testing to ensure that pipe or equipment was made according to specifications and ready for
safe use.
- Follow up a schedule to install, modify and maintain tower mounted communications equipment in different sites such as antennas, microphones, and radio equipments.
- Performs routine preventative and repair maintenance on communications Systems using the dedicated communications software to ensure prober signal send and receive in the local end and far end stations.
- Maintains and troubleshooting stations’ generators which supply power to the site.
- Supervise the maintenance and alignment of satellite dishes, receivers - outdoor units indoor units - ( IDU & ODU ), Microwave Link Systems, PABX, VHF and UHF equipments.
- Troubleshooting BTS (Base Transceiver Station) and BSC (Base Station Controller) depending upon the alarms received from OMC (Operation and Maintenance Center).
- Responsible for the company’s internetwork connection for end users (wired and wireless).
- Repair, administer and fix all owned company’s PCs (Hardware & Software).
- Install, configure and maintain network services, equipment and devices.
- Upgrades, installs and troubleshoots networks, networking hardware devices and software and Recommend and schedule repairs to the LAN/WAN.
