Participates in defining BioMed management strategy (needs assessment based on level of care, maintenance policies and
protocols, purchase/warranty contracts, ...etc) for ME missions with specific support to adequate equipment, quantities and
maintenance chronogram according to medical care/act level and to ME contexts
Contribute in defining and improving MSFOCBA logistic policies for Middle East missions countries by providing
feedback on his/her experience in liaison with the HQ referent
Assist the missions in practical implementation and monitoring of BioMed activities during the medical equipment life-
cycle ( Need assessment, technical specification, logistics, supply, reception, storage, installation, training, maintenance,
decommissioning)
Assist mission pharmacist to define the mission supply plan: define needs, orders follow-up, storage for spare parts and
items for maintenance.
Carry-out a chronogram of training for end-user and trainers according to the biomed policy (operation/technical training,
policies and procedures
Supervise the overall project process (medical equipment life-cycle) Need assessment, technical specification, Budgeting,
deadline follow-up, logistics, supply, reception, storage, installation, training, maintenance, decommissioning.
Developing network and knowledge of local actors in ME (institutions, training centres, etc., as relevant),
Deployed resources to meet financial / operating objectives including orders, revenue, contribution margin, and base cost.
