Job Description:
- Maintaining strongly effective suppliers' relationship
- Sourcing new suppliers based on all the main criteria (Price, Terms, Quality, Service, Support and history) to meet the requirements of our 4 affiliates (KSA, Lebanon, Egypt & India).
- Negotiating for the best quotations in terms of Price v/s Terms
- Executing and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties (Raw and Packaging Material)
- Preparing Budget Forecast based on raw and packaging material price modules and futures.
- Analyze and point out any possible risk for quotations submitted by new suppliers.
- Preparing Price Variance reports monthly and quarterly with full analysis, justification and explanation.
- Monitoring market trends and news in order to commit to best contracts for major food commodities (Sugar, Milk Powder, Cocoa Powder, Palm Oil, Rice Powder, Potato, Etc)
Achievements:
- Implementing new sourcing strategy.
- Optimizing Cash flow by increasing total payment terms to suppliers by 18 percent.
- Changing main commodities status from High Value High Risk to High Value Medium Risk and High Value Low Risk.
- Cost Reduction activity in coordination with Finance Department resulting in a 7.3 percent saving on 2011's budget
- Implementing a new KPI system for suppliers' assessment
