• Arrange with the project manager for the heavy vehicles he need through repairing the broke down vehicles, rent the heavy vehicles which are not available, buying (through the purchase department the vehicles which are not available.
• Make and follow up the vehicles preventive maintenance contracts with the agencies
• Make all fabrication works
• Checking the store and to be sure that all spare parts are available.
• Follow up all the vehicles which are sent for the agency for repairing
• Keep good and flexible contact with all agencies.
• Follow up all heavy vehicles and equipment for registration and insurance.
• Follow up the vehicles preventive maintenance and repairing for the broke down on the spot.
• Follow up the safety procedure for the workers, tower cranes, and the vehicles.
• Follow up applying ISO 9001 system in all the procedure in the PMV department.
• Doing financial and technical evaluation for any heavy machines repairing assessment.
• Follow up to get the third party certification for the vehicles and the equipment
• Proficiency in performance management, process improvement, and quality control
• Design the business and action plan for the PMV for short and long term plan
• Making profit margin of the company. Direct supervision on the maintenance and repairing activities for the plant to ensure having the best utilization of both manpower and facilities.
• Managing the overhead and running costs of the plant in a way to have the least and ensure not to be exceeding above limits.

• Assists the Project Managers in the development of project-specific PMV Procedures if required.
• Responsible for specifying the needs of the PMV presence in projects depending on the conditions of each project.
• Supervises the process of setting up the PMV shops on sites to enable smooth commencement and continuation of Project activities.
• Monitors the operation of all Company's equipment and miscellaneous service equipment through various control measures and ensures optimum operational status and deployment.
• Assumes Responsibility for Project Mobilization. Reviews projects contract and Plant List and arranges for the necessary logistic for transferring plant to specific Project Site.
• Monitors Plant operating and maintenance costs and productivity, carries out analyses to identify trends and make recommendations for rectification of variances or irregularities
• Monitors the frequency of equipment inspection to ensure Third Party and ISO Certification requirements are met.
• Maintains Plant market knowledge and contacts to keep up with development, obtains realistic offers for evaluation and approve purchases within level of delegated authority.
• Prepares Plant studies including the production of Engineering and workshop drawings within own discipline, to substantiate recommended Plant selection.
• Provides high-level technical advice to solve complex plant problems and assist subordinates.
