● Building a globally distributed, PCI DSS compliant platform using GCP, whilst guiding and upskilling internal teams using best practices for building, deploying and scaling applications in the cloud.
● Developed observability and detection capabilities that decreased time to discover and fix problems.
● Infrastructure cost optimisation. Reduced cost of our clusters by at least 25% by analyzing our workloads and tweaking the nodepools and type of infrastructure needed.
● Improved the CI/CD pipelines performance by upto 40% by redesigning the way our private Gitlab runners were distributed.

Working with our different clients, helping design and implement a cloud landing zone in preparation for full application migrations.

Key achievements and responsibilities include:
● Design and implementation of Kubernetes clusters on GCP
● Deliver technical workshops to draw out the requirements for a GCP Landing Zone
● Creation of reusable IAM and security patterns to be used by the wider client teams
● Work with governance team to ensure the platform meets compliance requirements

Working at one of Australia's biggest banks in the Platforms team as a DevOps engineer. Some of my main roles include:
● Design and implementation of the enterprise Kubernetes Clusters on GCP.
● Following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principals to build repeatable,
and easily maintainable terraform modules used to build the clusters.
● Design and implementation multi-tenanted Kubernetes clusters and defining the processes for developers and product teams to interface with the clusters
● Implementation, configuration and maintenance of the Istio Service Mesh on all of our clusters.
● Working with teams across the bank to implement different enterprise tools onto our clusters that provide CI/CD capabilities and Secrets management tools.

● Establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with stakeholders
and achieving the level of Trusted Advisor in a short period of time
● Ensuring that all the stakeholders are regularly kept up to date with the
progress and status of their requests
● Providing a high level of partnership and collaboration with all
stakeholders (including service suppliers and 3rd parties)
● Working closely with different streams to design and develop optimal
solutions for builds, package, and deploy across multi-platform
environments.

● Create and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment
● Automating the release process and saving up to 60% of the time needed to
package incremental releases and up to 50% of the time when creating a
full release.
