As a Electrical Engineer-MEP, I'm responsible for all Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Lift and other MEP Works carried out on Residential & Commercial Buildings.

Inspection of electrical equipments, materials, cables, conduit accessories to be used and installed as per client specification and Quality Manual.

Supervision for electrical works such as PVC and rigid pipes installation, cable tray and trenching including trench layout. Supervision and Installation of Medium Voltage Transformer, Panel boards and Electrical cable layout for the site.

Testing & commissioning of Transformers & electrical Systems from Primary line to Secondary line. Inspection of Electrical openings on slab, columns, shears wall, core wall, retaining wall to check conformity with plans and drawings.

Responsible for Supervising and Inspecting Plumbing activities like water supply lines, soil and waste water line and external drainage network of residential & commercial sites. Commissioning of Lifts & Plumbing Systems of residential and commercial apartments.

Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Fire Alarm, Public Address System and CCTV & Security Systems as per the drawings and requirements.

Installation, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Fire hydrant system, Hose reel system and Sprinkler system.

Supervision of Pumps, suction/delivery pipes, valves, control panel and instrumentation and pumps set shall be suitable for auto operation. Pumps shall be manufactured as per BIS standard for firefighting purpose.

Inter connection between sprinkler and hydrant pumps shall be carried out at discharge side with check valve and isolation valves.

Valves and other appurtenances shall be located that they are easily accessible for operation, repairs and maintenance. Valves/other equipments fitted above the false ceiling shall be provided with traps/access doors as per site conditions.

Checking the capacity of main and standby hydrant / sprinkler system pumps as per BOQ.
Co-ordination with civil and other contractors and give the clearance to do the MEP coordination in the site.

Review and verify drawings/details as per scope of work including single line drawings. Preparation of material approval request (MAR) to submit to client for different equipments and materials.

Preparation and Submit Weekly and Monthly Site Reports to Project Manager.

Providing technical support for trainee engineers on installation and commissioning of Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting Systems.

To act as the project team member controlling all aspects of work including, planning, administration, commercial, engineering, site works, documentation and handover to the clients.
