Was hired as an independent consultant to develop a robust Reinsurance Operating Model. Deliverables were as follows:
-Development of high-level Reinsurance Strategy for FY2020
-Development of Reinsurance Management and Governance Framework
-Calibration of Reinsurance Department organization structure and job descriptions
-Development of Change Management tools (manuals, presentations, demos etc.)
-Strategy/Project lead for all operational projects and strategic initiatives.
-Developed and delivered a comprehensive four-year strategy blueprint to the Board of Directors with strategies and action plans to ensure a CAGR of 25% by the year 2022.
-Independently led and delivered 12 high impact projects deployed by the company in the past 36 months.
-Head of Policies and Procedures/Document Control function (set it up from scratch). Member of the Corporate Governance Committee. Face of the organization to the regulators.
-Worked with McKinsey and Oliver Wyman to successfully deliver strategic and transformational turnaround plans.
-Worked with EY as Operations lead to successfully ensure VAT implementation and change management
-Following a mandate from the regulator, was assigned chief responsible for the development and submission of critical Policies & Procedures.
-Turned around the CG compliance rating from “Critical” to “Fully-compliant” in 18 months by developing, reviewing and approving 50 P&P documents as a full member and focal point of the Corporate Governance Committee.
-Worked with McKinsey and Oliver Wyman to successfully deliver strategic and transformational turnaround plans
-Was made secretary of the Corporate Governance Committee
-Hired into the PMO function as a management trainee, to assist and lead in the planning, organization, monitoring, execution and control of various company-wide Transformation Projects (Oliver Wyman).
-Facilitated completion of 100% of all board approved transformation projects within the scope of the projects being monitored by the PMO. This includes:
-HR Stabilization Project
-TOM development
-Actuarial Tariff Enhancement
Final Thesis project assessed the impact of Retail Relationship Management Programs.
