Responsible for providing effective, efficient, and collaborative IT services, solutions, and strategies in a timely manner to support and enhance the mission and activities of the Division of Student Affairs. SAIT Manager will realign IT services to improve responsiveness and better meet the needs of the Student Affairs Division with the University’s overall policies and procedures.
Role:
• To influence and deploy IT solutions that drive University productivity improvements, revenue, and customer satisfaction for primary stakeholders in the campus.
• Manage the IT function on a day-to-day operational basis.
• Ensure maximum availability of computer systems throughout the Company.
• Responsible for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktop applications, Local and / or Wide area networks, IT security and telecommunications.
• Development and implementation of new systems.
• Working with senior management to propose, agree and deliver IT service to defined Service Level Agreements.
• Responsible for the IT Budgeting.
• Manage the IT department include staff appraisals, disciplining, pay reviews and career development.
• Responsible for IT hardware, software and maintenance procurement.
• Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
• Develop and control the IT security policy.
• Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
• Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the regional level.
• Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly.
• Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
• Leads internal teams/task forces
• Approves team members' time and expense reports in a conscientious and timely manner.
• Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.
• Complies with and helps to enforce standard Etensity policies and procedures.

•Develop Information systems implementation project plans, assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project team.
•Identify and communicate resources requirements, ensures resources availability to support implementation
•Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones and required tasks
•Ensures that all phases of the project are properly & successfully implemented on time and quality standard. Prepares project progress reports and communicates status to the project team and senior management
•Develops and maintains project documentation. Amends documentation with any changes and enhancements, distribute and communicate changes to functional owner (s)
•Manages and tracks consultant time sheet to achieve maximum utilization of consultant time and ensure cost savings.
