Managing a portfolio of over 100 commercial, residential and government contracts and maximizing its utilization. In addition to supporting the expansion plans of Alghanim’s Automotive, Retail, F&B brands and corporate offices across Kuwait by searching, studying and acquisition of leasehold sites in accordance with the growth strategy. This involves site selection, financial viability, negotiation and securing of contracts in coordination with the business units, and working with the projects team to deliver the construction, fit-out and store openings on time and to budget.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
-Initiating and maintaining key contracts, site selection. -Securing the most prominent space in malls and street locations where possible.
-Managing the Leasing and legal documentation process in connection with new units and renewals.
-Preparation of site packages for all new premises, coordination with and obtaining necessary approval from the BU’s.
-Negotiating and concluding terms with Landlords and developers as per corporate policy.
-Preparation of market mapping plans as per the current market supply and generate future locations for Retail Network outlets.
-Perform due diligence in conjunction with legal and licensing teams.
-Estate management of the existing portfolio; renewals, rent reviews, assignments, surrenders.
-Annual portfolio review and analysis.
-Annual evaluation of internal & external properties.


Tasks related to government authorities and contracts:

-Approaching and dealing with Public authority for Industry, Ministry of Finance, Kuwait Municipality, Ministry of Electricity and Water, Ministry of Public Works, and Kuwait Fire Department for obtaining approvals and necessary documents.
-PAI contracts renewals and new contracts in case of acquisition.
-Inspections / Coordination’s.
-Issuing new building / demolishing licenses.
-Issuing modifications’ license
-Requesting permanent or temporary electricity.
-Merging & Unmerging plots / contracts.
-Adding activities.
-Any other issues which is related to government contracts.
-Rent payment.

- Developed marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives, set periodic marketing action plans, benchmarks and KPI’s.
- Developed business partnerships with corporates for staff accommodations.
- Managed lease contract’s negotiations between tenants and landlords.
- Recommended rental prices based on market research and property condition.
- Spear headed our team in Cityscape 2014 exhibition - Kuwait.
- Developed three websites from inception to completion.
- Managed a team of in-house, and outsourced: Social media and content experts, copywriters, web developers, search engine optimization specialists and designers.

Managed the setup of wholesale distribution headquarter project in Algeria, and multi site retail stores; three in Algeria and Jordan, and five franchised stores in Algeria.
- Researched regional market and conducted market entry analysis and plan in Algeria.
- Recommended store locations, negotiated lease contracts with landlords
- Managed stores openings and setup processes. Managed contractors.
- Sourced new and reliable suppliers from China, India, Turkey, Kuwait, Syria and local market.

Assistant Sales Manager
- Handled export’s department’s import/export operations and supply chain. (Interacted with more than 30 countries regulations, documentations and chambers of industry/commerce certificates).
- Conducted and prepared custom regulatory documentations and policies in Jordanian Customs Department under the (Temporary Admission for Manufacture and Exportation purposes law).
