Main responsibilities:
- Provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation
- Recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions
- Review work of technical team
- Review and determine the feasibility of technical proposals
- Manage technical resources within budget and project schedule

Overview:
Involved in a hands-on manner during the acquisition, installation, testing, and implementation phases of any project, evaluating current systems for effectiveness, and troubleshooting any problems that arise during the use of the delivered system.
Main responsibilities:
- Work with clients to determine scope requirements
- Determine the best approach to creating the solution based on client requirements
- Work with vendors to support the clients requirements
- Deliver the proposed design based on customer requirements
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of technical solutions for the clients
- Troubleshoot any faults and malfunctions in the delivered systems
- Participating in meetings to improve workflow and operation of implemented systems
I followed the one-month familiarization plan which allows the intern to visit the head of each department in Ooredoo to have an overview session about their work. Then I chose to work in the BSS section under the Networks department in the next month. My main role was to participate in the following tasks:
- BTS system capacity upgrading and downgrading
- Network signal testing
