Responsibilities and duties
Working on several modules of core banking system and sub systems in addition to the integration of core banking system with the other sub systems
• Being first point of call for new and current clients and assessing software requirements
• Analyzing and debugging code
• Writing multiple code and script
• Trouble shooting and problem solving
• Diagnosing and rectifying performance issues
• Suggesting improvements on design and functionality
• Providing aftercare support for business in addition to guiding them during the live implementation of any new system/ feature
• Supporting and managing all recording requests between internal departments
• Contributing as a major software developer for the following high impact modules: o Fund transfer (specialized in SWIFT) o Teller o Trade finance o Deposits o Loans o Collection o Sieble
• Developing new procedures for requirements gathering, needs analysis, testing, scripting and documentation to strengthen quality and functionality of business-critical applications.
• Participating in design, code reviews and updated the document with unit testing results of application
• Working with vendor in resolving issues and implementing the new system enhancements and changes
• Analyze, design, and parameterize products, interfaces and process flow.
• Discuss scope of testing with business and QA team in addition to being part of UAT committee
• Defects reporting using JIRA and tracking its life cycle
• Leading and training new resources

Responsibilities and duties

• Preparing and analyzing the requirements for each project and discussing them with the business during the implementation and the requirement setting phase.
• Creating and reviewing Test Cases.
• Impact Analysis on those items affected by the new changes
• Preparing Manual Documents for those newly implemented items
• Discuss scope of testing with business
• Reporting defects and track the defect life cycle (Rational Quality Manager & I Support).
• Performing Integration Testing with other related systems and subsystems
• Performing Grey Box/Back End Testing on flexcube system
• Support production issue (investigation to find the root cause behind this issue) in addition to report it with the vendor team or development team.
• Communicating any issue/ new change with vendor support team.
• Preparing Daily and Weekly Status Reports as well as the Sign-off report.
• Regression testing
• Lead the testing phase of any assigned project from all sides (management with the other teams dependency, progress status, gaps analysis, contacting any blocker with the responsible team, sign off process with approvals from all related parties)

• Maintaining the data center of the organization and ensuring that the systems run properly.
• Ensuring security of the systems and monitor any unauthorized entry.
• Ensure that employees are provided with the information without delay.
• Organize data in the computer as per specifications of the organization management.
• Assist in data recovery and disaster management in case there is a security breach or data is lost.
• Prepare backup for systems so that data is not lost if there is a problem with the system.
• May also have to monitor security and working of organization servers.
• Document all the requests and follow organization rules and procedures before providing information.
• Regularly monitor security arrangements and upgrade security measures.
