Scope of Work:
• Part of the integrated design team. Viewing the design drawings and package, and commenting on the scope before awarding the package to the contractors.
• Evaluating the companies before awarding, and raising the recommendations to the higher management.
• Evaluating the contractors’ submittals and their offers to assure that the material and packages are complied with the GREEN requirements of Dubai municipality.
• Doing a factory visits and productions’ evaluation before sending them to the sites.
• Designing the finishing details and approving the site mock-ups, for the fit out and interior projects.
• Selecting and approving the projects’ material. And specifying and alternative material if needed.
• Approving the shop drawings before starting the execution.
• Managing the process of the project’s progress till completion.
• Managing and putting a projects’ plan of placing the FF&E items “for the hotel projects”.
• Managing and following up with the authority approval and requirements - such as “DCD - DM - DTCM for the hotel projects, and etc.”
• Managing and dealing with many of projects’ special sectors and authorities such as,
o DTCM, to assure that the design and the execution are meeting the level of the desired Hotel’s star rate.
o Dubai Food departments for the hotel projects which have a resultants and coffees. To assure that the projects are executed as per their requirements.
o DM “Dubai Municipality” and DCD for the BCC and civil defense approval.
o GYM equipment companies.
o Apartments’ White goods suppliers.
o Project landscape contractors.
o Health and safety requirements with a third-party.
o Integration between the fit-out and the MEP scope of works.
o Housekeeping companies.
o Security companies and security team before handing over the project to the FM team.
o Swimming pool contractor
• Managing a team of handing over and maintenance team for the after sales service \[for the completed and handed over projects\].
• Managing and controlling the contractors to assure their compliance with the company’s requirements of the handing over documents and O&M before handing over the projects to the FM team.
Projects:
KAPSARC Project, \[King Abdullah Petroleum Since and Research Center\]. A LEED Project - Platinum rating system- design by ZAHA HADID Architects, and owned by Saudi ARAMCO.
Scope of Work:
• A member of the integrated design team in the initial stage of the project before developing the shop drawings.
• Managing the implementation process of the Quality Program and Quality plan of the project.
• Managing and responsible of the project samples and mock-ups’ approvals.
• Developing the Quality Program for the independent surveillance and audit of the project for compliance with procedures and requirements, as well as the documentation of compliance and corrective action.
• Studying the project’s specification and generating the Method statement for the activity which under scope of work.
• Monitoring the construction team’s progress of the site activities.
• Leading a team of the critical site inspection activities.
• Monitoring the non-compliance sectors to the contract/specifications, and handling the effective closing-out.
• Conducting periodic inspections at the manufacturing facilities to ensure necessary QC measures are implemented.
• Generating a new ITPs and Inspection Check List as per ARAMCO’s standards and format.
• Part of the team (Procurement, Commercial, Procurement QC, and LEED team) who are doing the studies on each new proposed material and its compliance with the LEED’s requirements and the Project’s specification.
• Heading a weekly progress meeting with all subcontractors, to evaluate and monitor the weekly progress rate.
• Attending the weekly progress meeting with the main contractor and Saudi ARAMCO.
• Attending the weekly quality meeting with the main contractor and Saudi ARAMCO.
• Earned a good knowledge of the new materials and techniques which are designed and specified by the Project architect “ZAHA HADID”, such as:
o The acoustic flooring for the lecture rooms, to meet the LEED and Green requirements.
o The special wall and acoustic material which used at the offices and the lecture rooms, to meet the LEED and Green requirements.
o The Terrazzo flooring for the parking and the B.O.H areas.
o The grades and the classification of the used carpet, and fabric in the offices.
o The required and needed welding and framing tests which must be conducted to the steel framing of the project, for the health and safety peruse.
o The classification of the used paint, and major points which needs to be considered to meet the LEED requirements.
o The integration between the design drawings, civil shop drawings, and the MEP shop drawings, by using the BIM system and design.
• Conducting the necessary introduction and seminars for the new staff \[QA/QC and Civil engineers\], explaining the requirements of the platinum LEED project and the Main points in each new activity, to meet ARAMCO’s standard

• Dubai metro project “Red Line”.
• Intercontinental Hotel - DFC, Dubai.

Scope of Work:
• Supervising a team of a document controller to do the filling system of all the relevant paperwork during the construction time - with respect to the ISO requirements-.
• Managing a team of QC Engineers, and doing a daily follow up with the progress of inspection and work plans.
• Supervising a team of a document controllers to assure the filling system is implemented per the ISO requirements.
• A member of the Audit team. Do the regular audit on the construction and quality paper works and works in the projects.
• Doing the required offsite and at site material inspections, before sending the material to sites.
• Doing a factory evaluation and audit on a regular basis.
• Conducting the life and safety test with the approved 3rd party (TUV) to raise the results report to RTA and Engineering department. (Metro Project)
• In the initial stage, doing the necessary co-ordination - on a regular basis- with the design department to assure that the shop drawings are meeting the project specification.
• Managing a team of inspectors who were assigned to generate the snags to the construction team before closing out stage.
• Managing a team of closing out, to handing over the projects to the clients.
• Attending the weekly progress and quality meetings with the clients and the engineers.
• Supervising All Finishing work of the Project's Which Included the gypsum work, paint work, joinery work, carpet work, marble work and furniture.
• Managing the scope of the fit out work at the business center and the main restaurant.

• Coordinate with the MEP Company in order to solve all the clashes during the construction and execution time.

• Doing the design selections of the fixing and lifting system, for the marble and the external/ internal claddings.
• Giving the needed technical support and maintenance advice on the pre-sold products to the customers.
• Conducting with the approved 3rd parties the needed structure tests of the selected & designed fixing items/ systems.
• A member of the tendering team, for every new proposed project.

Scope of Work:
• Conducting the inspection of the block and plaster works
• Conducting the inspection of paint works.
• Conducting the inspection of special flooring works.

• Conducting the offsite and factory inspections for a several finishing items.
• Managing the lab tests of many activities and items per the ASTM and the project specification.
• Documenting the tests and inspections reports.
• Receiving and inspecting the newly received items before shifting to site - (metal doors, block works, Marble, Ceramic tiles, sand, joinery, sanitary-wares, and etc).

Scope of Work:
• Supervising and executing the project three mock-ups.

• Handing over the completed areas to the QC team, prior handing over the units to the end users.
• Managing the construction and finishing work of the mall retails and cinemas, starting from the level surveying, till the final finishing.
