- Review of Tender documents upon receipt to ensure its completeness and evaluate it.
- The clear understanding of work scope and well defined of the important points that specify the methodology of estimating the projects.
- Attending Pre-bid meeting with Client when required.
- Responsible to verify detailed quantity surveying from the tender documentation.
- Preparing the List of Inquiries and send it to the owner's representative.
- Preparing the documents of RFQ and ensure that is full and clear, then send it to the vendor list and Subcontractors for this project.
- Follow up the Vendor list and subcontractors periodically to update the status of the RFQ.
- Use the Historical data for the similar previous projects when required which will help to get the accurate estimation.
- Preparing breakdown for the BOQ items for the direct and indirect cost.
- Coordinate with the departments involved in the project cost estimation and ensure that the work in accordance with the agreed schedule.
- Preparing a detailed cost report forward to the top management to define the profit percent for the project.
- Preparing the Technical and commercial proposal for the project so that it is very competitive and meets the requirements of the client.
- Always be careful to maintain the company's reputation as a representative for it.
