Reviewed the Chinese contractors’ design drawings of flat & ribbed slabs for housing projects & their foundations in Western Mountain.
Also reviewed the design of manholes & inspection chambers for sewer lines.
For the design of a mega water desalination plant in Sur, Sultanate of Oman. This included designing:
RC water reservoir, sea water intake pump station, tank farm & bund walls, R/O building, pipe rack & supports.
Lead a team of engineers & draftsmen through the detailed design. Attended design coordination meetings in Sur, Muscat & Paris.
Responsible for the adminsteration of the department & teaching : Mathematics, Computer Programming, Descriptive Geometry, Auto Cad, Statics & Strength of Materials.
*Preparing tender documents for a multi million $ gas/oil depot in Al wadi Al gadid. Liaison with sub_contractors, organizing, budgeting, planning & scheduling .
*Designing special structures for industrial drainage such as caissons & a baffle tank .Provided guidance on AutoCAD detailed drawings.

Structural designer for a number of different buildings in Egypt.
Managed to save 1/2 Million L.E. in a hotel project in Hergada using own computer programs . Provided guidance on AutoCAD detailed drawings .
Structural Designer for a variety of reinforced concrete & steel structures with their foundations using own computer programs. Provided guidance on detailed drawings.
Structural Designer for multistorey buildings & private villas.

For the construction of some 200 piles.
Responsibility included : drilling, bentonite injection,
concreting, sonic testing, dewatering, and survey works.
Also worked on the relocation of utilities in and around the site, supervision of the construction of a pile cap that required pouring 1200 M3 of concrete in 15 hrs.
Project Manager for the extension of industrial buildings
in 6th of October industrial zone, where supervised various civil, mechanical and electrical works.
Worked on the concrete rehabilitation project of the
Liqufied Natural Gas -plant at Das Island.
Duties included supervision and monitoring of site
work and coordination of project activities.

reinforced concrete silo and its on top structural
steel to elevation 64.
*** Structural design of foundation for a boiler unit.

Supervised practical training in the workshops.
Responsible for adminstration of the department,
storage of tools and materials, maintenance of equipments and
teaching the following subjects :
General buildings technology, Industrial organization &safety,
Technical drawing, Cost estimate, and Applied mathematics.
For the executon of Cairo waste water network. Supevised
the construction of 8, 9, 10 M diam. reinforced concrete
caissons by the method of sinking shaft. Supervised the
construction of branch and main tunnels under compressed air.
In charge of all phases of structural design for apartment buildings. Stress analysis of slabs, beams & columns cross sections, and their detailed drawings.
Also designed different foundation systems resting on clayey & sandy soils.
Courses in prestressed concrete,theorey of structures, foundation design, finite elements & computer aided design , direct energy conversion & projects management. Graduation thesis in marine hydraulics.
