Electric Express Train (passengers and cargo) from El Ain El Sokhna City on the Red Sea Coast to Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean Coast Phase1 600 km Called Green Line, project includes the following activities.
• 23 high-speed/regional stations with an average plot limit of 75000 m2 per station.
• More than 50 km length viaduct bridges along the alignment including Nile crossing viaduct.
• More than 170 million m3 earthwork for embankment construction including different types of slope protection.
• More than 420 culverts /flood protection system.
• More than 120 roadway crossings.
Phase 2 FROM OCTOBER GARDENERS TO ABOU SIMBEL (BLUE LINE) ANDFROM QENA TO SAFAGA (RED LINE) (1400 km), the phase includes the following activities.
• 36 high-speed/regional stations with an average plot limit of 50000 m2 per station.
• More than 30 km length viaduct bridges along the alignment including 2 Nile crossing viaduct.
• More than 200 million m3 earthwork for embankment construction including different types of slope protection.
• More than 920 culverts /flood protection system.
• More than 200 roadways underpass crossings.
