Supports faculty and students within one or more Engineering Technology program areas by maintaining the college's laboratories and workshops. Responsible in the installation, demonstration, maintenance and trouble-shooting of equipment and facilities. Closely works with faculty and students with the laboratory. Set up the lab in preparation for experiments. Teach courses as assigned.
Key accomplishments
 Teach courses as assigned. Assist the Faculty in conducting practical works/student projects in the
workshop/laboratory.
 Manage safety inspection for the civil laboratory/workplaces under my responsibility.
 Improvement/maintenance of the civil labs in terms of its usage.
 Assisted/Helped the graduating students in their final projects specially the usage of different equipment
and machines for the completion of their projects in terms of material needs and testing.
 Participation in the college promotional programs plus the visitation of construction sites/concrete mixing
plants with colleagues and local students.

• In-charge of the contractor’s accountability for the additional works of the hospital.
• In charge of the site additional works (Variations), checks site conditions (quality issues), coordinates with subcontractors, suppliers.
• Preparation of summary for the weekly meeting based on the daily updates.
• Check site conditions for each items, in-progress and pending issues.
• Prepares invitations for weekly meeting as per MOPW instructions/directions.
• Attend to Coordination & progress Update Meeting on a weekly basis and take action on relevant requirements as per meeting agenda and presides the meeting in discussing the progress update of additional works and high priority works.
• Prepares weekly update on the High Priority Works and prepares photos for inclusion on the weekly report submitted to MOPW.
• Follow-up with responsible sub-contractor, supplier of any requirements pertaining to pending items.
• Follow-up on civil works
1. Prepares daily request form for the scheduled work in the night
2. Submit the request to the operator for approval (Work Request Form)
3. Filing of documents and give approved request to supervisor for access in the hospital during the overtime period.
• Follow-up on architectural works (Preparation of work completion form on completed zones, Liaise with the consultant of any completed works per zone)
• Daily coordination with consultants and attend to them as required.
• Attend to important site inspections (mock-up) and obtains approval from the Client/Engineer.
• Prepares Completion Form/Handing Over Certificate for the High Priority Items (In progress & Pending Issues).
• Prepares LPO (editing, coordinating with the Project Director including correspondence/communications with the suppliers.
• Prepares Material submittal for the additional works, prepares documents required for submission of required materials for the additional works, cross checking of documents with the specifications.
• Follows up approval of materials.
• Daily Report (gathering of information, preparation and e-mailing of report to MCM managing partners and operators(SKGH)
• Preparation of outgoing letters to MOPW, SKGH in coordination with the Project Director.
• Reply, Forward and distribute important e-mails pertaining work related issues to relevant recipients (MCM, SKGH, MOPW & all suppliers and subcontractors)
• Filing of documents (i.e. quotations, completion forms, document submittals & transmittals, letters, delivery notes, work request forms, gate pass)
• Coordination with subcontractors pertaining pending and in-progress works.
• Follow up pending items, requirements, documents to finalize and close out high priority items.
• Liaise with the operators concerning closing out of high priority items.
• Contacting suppliers on any additional requirements at site, procurement and scheduling delivery (i.e. Insulation for soundproofing)
• Receiving of materials for delivery to site and coordination with supervisor.

• Responsible in the management of the QA/QC Department of the project.
• Responsible in Quality Assurance and Quality Control of the entire project from civil/structural works up to architectural aspects of the project. Represents the QA/QC department and monitors documentations from structural to architectural respectively with respect to ISO9001:2000.
• Closely coordinates every structural & architectural issues/aspects in relation with the project to the consultants and project managers (Bayaty Architects, CORE/IPRO).
• Performs trades coordination/communications with respect to Quality Assurance of works with the sub-contractors.
• Attends to periodic testing of materials. Attends to material inspections/prepares necessary documents for inspection and obtains approval from the Engineer.
• Controls/records incoming inspection requests on different work progress requiring proper documentations and inspections.
• Creates appropriate corrective action procedure on detected Non-conformances during the execution of the project. Follow-up closing of NCR’s with all respective trades (Civil, Architectural, MEP & Safety).
• Updates summary of Nonconformance Report on a weekly basis. Reporting approved mock-up inspections and follow-up relevant trades for execution.
• Attends to weekly progress meeting with the management and consultants monitoring quality of works on a weekly basis. This includes weekly internal meeting with the Joint Venture staff.
• Attend to important site inspections (mock-up) and obtains approval from the Client/Engineer.

• Responsible in Quality Assurance and Quality Control of the entire department on structural works/aspects of the company's projects. Represents the department and look after documentations for structures.
• Closely coordinates with other departments every structural issues/aspects in relation with the existing projects.
• Performs trades coordination/communications with respect to Quality Assurance of works.
• Controls/records incoming submittals/transmittals on different work progress requiring proper documentations on each project.
• To ensure timely submission, coordination of drawings and pertinent documents for approval and start of works.
• Review drawings prior submission to client.

• Responsible in Quality Assurance and Quality Control of the entire project from civil/structural works up to architectural aspects of the project. Represents the department and look after documentations from structural to architectural respectively.
• Closely coordinates every architectural issues/aspects in relation with the project to the consultants (Khatib & Alami).
• Obtain approval of individual inspections for each stage of construction in conjunction with documentations for commercial purposes.
• Performs trades coordination/communications with respect to Quality Assurance of works.
• Conducts preliminary auditing on subsidiary offices involved in the project such as commercial department and store/warehouse.
• Attends to periodic testing of materials.
• Prepares auditing reports in relation to the internal and external auditing conducted by the company auditors and Company third party systems assessor (BVQI). Maintains Corrective actions resulting to audits were prepared for updating of Non-conformance Reports and Audits.
• Controls/records incoming inspection requests on different work progress requiring proper documentations and inspections.
• To create an appropriate corrective action procedure on detected Non-conformances during the execution of the project.
• To put up inspections and obtain all clearances for other trades to proceed with the works, till completion.
• To ensure timely submission of all drawings and pertinent documents for approval and start of works.
• Reviews all shop drawings prior to submission and approval from the client’s representatives.

• Responsible in the production of shop drawings for civil works/infrastructures.
• Prepares bar/bending schedules for shop drawings (e.g. foundations, concrete pits, pipe sleepers, etc.) used for billing purposes.
• Responsible in the preparation of Release Notices of civil works to different sections of the project. These include fireproofing works, equipment foundations, pipe racks, concrete pits, underground piping, etc.
• Responsible in the preparation of FCRs.
• Supervise construction works periodically depending on the unavailability of site engineer.
• Controls documentation of Handover, Change orders, and other pertinent documents.
• Updates monitoring charts for underground piping works, fireproofing works over-all accomplishments on different aspects of civil works.
• Monitor accomplishments periodically on site.
• Convey instructions to sub-contractors concerning site schedules, approved plans, specifications and site instructions.

• Responsible in the implementation of construction of housing units such as single-attached, single-detached, duplex, and townhouse units.
• Prepares pertinent documents involving internal and external matters.
• Site supervision and inspection periodically.
• Responsible in the construction of riprap (soil protection) for a few number of housing units located on sloping terrains.
• Revised structural designs for units subject to changes requested by unit owners.
• Attends meeting with the owner/client and government representatives.
• Coordinate and check the daily activities and sub-contractors accomplishments to ensure work is done in accordance with safety rules, approved plans and specifications.
• Conducts material testing relevant with the specifications needed for every housing unit.

• Supervision of QC Inspectors on pipe manufacturing and construction of reinforced concrete structures based on ACI and British Standards.
• Conducts daily coordination meeting with inspectors.
• Responsible in conducting periodic inspections and field-tests on both manufacturing and construction sectors of the project.
• Issues NCR, CAR to the construction department as per QA procedure concerning non-conformances in the quality of work.
• Involved structurally in the construction aspects dealing with Quality control based on ISO9000.
• Responsible in monitoring and updating documents for QA.
• Attends periodic testing of materials.
• Attend to periodic auditing conducted by Brown & root representatives.
• Coordinate and check the activities of the construction department and sub-contractors to ensure work is done in accordance with safety rules, approved plans and specifications.
• Submit weekly/monthly report to QA/QC Manager.
• Conducts periodic trainings/seminars for QA/QC Inspectors.

• Responsible in the supervision of cartographic group in preparation of economic/topographic maps.
• Prepares map designs, procedures and technical methods for application.
• Assigned at field works. Conducts inspections of small water impounding projects and gather agricultural information on different locations in the Philippines.
• Assists in the preparation of technical improvement program in map preparation and production.

• Responsible in the investigation and research of all necessary information in relation to the project.
• Prepares schematic designs basing on the unit owner’s requirements and design concepts.
• Prepares budgetary cost estimates based on unit cost and prevailing cost from previous similar projects.
• Controls site documents.
• Site duties largely on site inspection and quality control.
