My duties were in line with Preparing and negotiating the terms and conditions of contracts, Meeting with customers to discuss business and legal matters, Ensuring contract compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, Informing internal and external stakeholders of the status of contracts, etc.
The Project is the construction of a Jetty together with a Quay Wall, Reclamation work, and Office Building Construction. This is the Sanken and ELS Joint Venture Project for the Naval Dockyard at Trincomalee.

Experience is related to Contract Administration with maintaining PMIS Logs. Handling of Contract Documents together QCS / QSMM / FIDIC/ CESMM. Attending Progress Review Meetings, Preparing Monthly Interior Payment Certificate, Change Requests including Tentative Cost Estimation, Draft Site Instructions including SI Analysis, Draft Variation Order, etc. Completed Projects are as shown below.

All relevant work of Quantity Surveying with Handling of the Contract Documents including QCS / FIDIC/ CESMM. My main duties are to prepare Claims for Additional work of all Projects, Attending Progress Review Meetings, Progress of work accomplishment at the site, Preparing Monthly Interior Payment certificates including MOS also, and identifying the work changes for claims, etc.
It is for the Construction of classroom buildings and Food Court Buildings at the University of Qatar (Project Value is QR 650 Million), The Port expansion Project included the Construction of the Main Break Water Structure (5.14 km long) and Secondary Break Water Structure (1.1 km long). The dredging for an access road to the new port, the reclamation of land, the relocation of a 10 km undersea oil pipeline, and required facilities for the construction of a jetty (The Project Value: QR 1600 Million), etc.
Executive MSc in Project Management 1 Year Program offered by GIPM Project Management Campus Sri Lanka, in partnership with AeU Malaysia. The AeU degrees have been popular in Sri Lanka over the last six to seven years and are approved by the University Grant Commission. GIPM Project Management Campus is the only Institute in Sri Lanka accredited to offer an Executive MSc in PM.
