• Installations, monitor, overhaul, calibrate and test a wide variety of industrial instruments that records, controls, regulate temperature levels, flow and pressure etc.
• Pressure testing and installation of Valves such as Ball valve, Control valve, Gate valve, Plug Valve, Pressure safety valve \{PSV\}.
• Online and Bench Calibration of Barton Recorders (SE, TE and DP Cell.), Pressure and Temperature Transmitters (TT, PT and FT), Flow meters \[Pd meter\] Pressure, Level and Temperature Gauges, Amot Pressure Switch.
• Reading and interpretation of P& ID etc.
• Hydrostatic pressure testing of pressure hoses.
• Troubleshooting telemetry and process hardware, maintain a functional knowledge of the operation of the telemetry system.
• Provide periodic preventive maintenance inspection of all metering instruments diagnosing existing and potential troubles, clean lubricate and adjust as condition indicates.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams mechanical drawing and specification.
• Keep records, make verbal and report of work carried out.
• Develop estimates of labour, and supplies necessary for the performance of specific assignment.
CLIENTS: Total E&P, SPDC, Seawolf Oil Drilling Company, Schlumberger, Frontier.
• Overhaul and calibration of control valves and PSV.
• Removal and re-installation of control and pressure relief valves.
• Online calibration / stroking of valves.
• Calibration of field instruments; gauges, temperature and pressure switches, transmitters, pressure recorders etc.
• Running / installation of pneumatic instrument lines, stainless tubing bending.
• Overhaul / servicing of senior Daniel orifice valves.
• Pressure testing of low and high pressure vessels, cylinder bottles for nitrogen, oxygen etc
• NDT thickness gauge test.
• Ultrasound leakage detection test.
• Servicing / maintenance of pressure pneumatic panels.
• Modification of Robertshaw panel shutdown logic system using Electro-pneumatic
Controls, to checkmate oil pipeline rupture / vandalization.
