• Review HSE documentation i.e. RAMS, inspection reports, Emergency response procedure, accident reports etc. of contractors and company.
• Monitor and track safety observations and notices to closure
• Attend health and safety meetings on the project and guidance on in all HSE activities, such as Safety committee meeting, weekly meeting, management meetings etc.

• Advising, guiding and facilitating the staff/Management and contractors on all matters pertaining to HSE, in fulfilling the HSE responsibilities and to promote the organization HSE culture.
• Design/ implement the HSE strategic objectives, KPI, targets and tasks for the company.
• Arrange and conduct safety committee meetings periodically on major ooredoo buildings.
• Monthly HSE site walkthrough with staff/contractors to Ooredoo buildings and exchanges.
• Ensure the clients safety information sheet (SIS) from Kaharamaa & QP Permit/HIA is followed and implemented by the contractors.
• Conducting internal audit as per the health and safety standard and legal requirements and other requirements following.
• Conduct 2nd Party Safety audits & Workers Welfare /Accommodation inspections of contractors.
• Liaise with Senior HSE manager in Providing and agree annual plans and budgets necessary for successful implementation of H&S strategy and manage delivery against target (includes plans and budgets for supplies, equipment, resources and training)
• Conduct fire drills (Emergency response) on every manned ooredoo sites such headquarters and other manned buildings.
• Ensuring all Conduct periodic survey to monitor the gas testing, Noise and light level on all key sites are recorded and act upon.
• Closely worked with engineers, contractors to be involved in all phases of project to be executed that could involve or causes environmental issues including kickoff and start-up monitoring, and coordinated with stakeholders to ensure the implementation efficiency.
• Reporting and Investigation of Incidents/Accidents on sites to the management and, authority and client.
• Conducting HSE induction to all contractors / staffs and other safety trainings required or as planned.
• Meetings with contractors prior to start of activities and submission of documents and regularly responding to emails of staffs/contractors.
(ROADS/ STRUCTURES/ DRAINAGES/ EARTHWORKS/ TUNELLING)
• • Conduct accident/incident and near miss investigation, make proper report, documentation and recommendation to avoid reoccurrence.
• To ensure compliance with PWA’s objectives, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
• Implement HSE pro-active measures on the project site activities
• Conduct construction related HSE trainings to staff to identify site hazards during their job activities at site.
• Monitor the compliance with Qatar Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) legislation and Sub-Contractors HSE Plan and report and follow up any breaches. (QCS)
• Develop a culture to anticipate and prevent health hazardous conditions
• Ensure implementation of H&S policies, management systems, standards and working practices in ROMD and ensure all road operation maintenance department (ROMD) employees and contractors comply.
• Ensure implementation of latest version of Work Zone Traffic Management Guide (WZTMG)
• Ensure that HSE risks are identified, assessed and managed for all project activities
• Participate in the project team meetings and provide guidance in all HSE activities.
• Ensure that relevant safety measures have been put in place for Engineers & Inspectors and provide training as and when required.
• Identify, monitor and take necessary actions to achieve agreed H&S KPI targets
• Conducting internal audit as per the health and safety standard and legal requirements and other requirements following.
• Ensuring review of OH&S documents such as HSE plan, method statement, risk assessment, and emergency preparedness procedure plan.

• Develop suitable risk assessment and emergency response plan for commissioning and operations

• Monitor daily Pre-start Safety Briefings delivered by the Supervisors and assist them in improving quality of Pre-start Safety Briefing
• Undertake Site HSSE Inspections and close out follow-up in accordance with the relevant procedures
• Identify HSE hazards and unsafe conditions on worksite and recommend appropriate controls
• Monitor compliance with Site HSSE Rules and Method Statements

• Conduct meeting with the construction team on health and safety matters and carrying out a safety tour to deal with complaints, compiling HSE reports, etc.
