I am the responsible person of the audit team which has 26 clients. My responsibities are to plan the audit schedule, lead the audit team during planned audits, answering client questions on any tax matter including VAT, WHT, Stamp tax and firm procedures and structures, controlling CIT, VAT, WHT and stamp tax calculations and declarations and the preparation and the controlling of audit and certification reports. Leading tax and Turkish GAAP compliance audits if necessary controlling the Turkish GAAP adjustment journal entries.
For first 2 years on this position my job definition is to control clients trial balances and accounts, to give consultancy about accounting and tax related situations, to prepare audit schedules. On 3rd year of this position I worked as Asistant In-Charge. As Asistant In-Charge I was the responsible person of the audit team which has 25 clients. My responsibities are to plan the audit schedule, lead the audit team during planned audits, answering client questions on tax matters, controlling corporate tax calculations and declarations and the preparation of audit and certification reports.
During a merging project as an intern I worked as an intern. My job description is data entry and matching the VAT and expense amounts with journal entries.
During my internship in T.C. Garanti Bankası A.Ş. - Kartal Branch I was assigned in every department to learn the workflow of a bank. Mostly I assigned in
Operating Department of the branch.
During my studentship in this programme my aim is to learn IFRS, internal audit standards, basics of financial reporting and its effects on international and local tax.
