·The role covers buying, P&L management, vendor management, negotiations, team building, marketing, analytics, private label development and marketing activities management for the range.
·Responsible for meeting all retail parameters for the division such as buying margin, credit days, effective reduction of ageing stock and inventory control.
·Managing the sourcing and import buying process from China, Germany, Poland and India.
·Formulating the category strategy for each year basis benchmark, growth targets and continuous performance improvement measures.
·Constant travel across county and International Markets (attended Domotex) to identify potential suppliers, map new trends, fill gap areas and set new industry benchmarks for the division.
·Managing the pricing strategy accordingly to the competition and the cash margin targets.

• Responsible of Women/Mens/Kids/Babies Clothing end to end Sourcing & Buying and Merchandise Planning Processes for 170 stores.
• Prepare the critical path and the range plan for new launches and ensure that we are in line with the plans.
• Review the sourcing activities to achieve the lowest purchasing cost while ensuring company quality standards are met.
• Find new potential suppliers and improve the existing ones by being a guide during their technical and ethical audit processes.
• Prepare the supplier contracts by coordinaring with the Law Department.
• Manage negotiations with suppliers and achieve Buy For Less within the same or higher quality standards.
• Create a perfect range for customers and improve the range consistantly at good prices in order to appeal to all.
• Monitor the key performance indicators such as sales & profit & margin & stock covers and last year figures as well and take related actions on daily basis.
• Decide on buying quantity by reviewing the last year datas and future opportunities, allocate the stock by stores according to their sizes & previous performances and manage the exit plans.
• Plan promotions and special events & customer activities in line with the trade plan.
• Analyze consumer buying patterns and predict future trends.
• Attend domestic and international trade fairs & customer questionnaries and make competitore visits in order to undserstand the market
