Receive/read RFQ documents (Mechanical, piping, structural steel, structural concrete and civil) prior to estimation. Understanding all scope of works, drawings, specifications and relevant client’s inquiry requirements.
Attending job explanation meeting, site inspection/site visit and pre-bid clarification meeting before preceding the estimate.
Preparation of queries to clients for the clarity of scope and responsibility.
Prepare materials take-off (Mechanical, piping, structural steel, structural concrete and civil) from supplied drawings, either from AutoCAD, isometrics and plans (if not provided by client).
Identify and raised RFQ for the materials and 3rd party services required for pricing.
Calculate direct man-hours in each every line item of activity based on standard norms/productivity.
Prepare direct mobilization plan (Craft wise) based on client provided project schedule or milestone.
Prepare indirect mobilization plan based on loaded direct manpower and project requirements (Management, Planning & cost control, Supervision, Safety, Quality, Material Control & etc.).
Prepare equipment mobilization plan based on direct & indirect loaded manpower, work activities, study, calculate & identify required lifting/transportation equipment’s based on the weight & items to be erected.
Calculate the quantity of consumables and site facilities required based on the project requirements and resources.
Study, identify and calculate the testing requirements of the projects.
Preparing & run cost estimate/analysis base on computed direct & indirect man-hours, equipment, consumables, site facilities, materials and 3rd party services required for the projects.
Coordinate with the construction, safety and quality team for any special requirements on the projects to apply on the estimate.
Prepare the basis of estimate, prepare risk register, identify the risk probability (High/Medium/Low), study & identify mitigation plan to eliminate or reduce risk probability and identify again the risk probability after mitigation.
Re-run the estimate after applying the mitigation on the risk register of the project.
Guide, monitor and review the work estimates of Eight (8) Estimation Engineers.
Report, discuss and interface to Estimation Manager.
Present and discussed the project & estimate to General Manager and Vice President for their review and comments.
Apply on the estimate all the comments during review.
Preparing the commercial letter proposal, scope of works, clarifications/deviation if any and price breakdown based on client requirement.
Answering post bid clarification from client’s technical & commercial clarification.
Reviewing the contract and the rates before signing of the contract.
Handover the project to construction, safety and quality team by providing project overview, quantum of work, manpower & equipment requirements, scope of works/supply that are included & excluded in the price, critical scope & other project information.
Preparing and making cost analysis for big change orders.
Reading the construction packages, specification and drawings prior to start the work.
Read and analyzed RFQ documents, drawings, specifications and scope of works from the clients provided documents.
Attending site inspection, job explanation and clarification meeting.
Making quantity take-off of precast/prestressed concrete elements from the supplied drawings.
Estimates materials to be used, transportation, and erection.
Making cost analysis, including pricing & making Quotations of Qanbar Dywidag Precast/Prestressed Concrete Products.
Checking the contract plans and specifications if it is correctly followed & implemented to the project, checking actual measurements, quantities at project site, monitor project progress and making progress billing.

Reading the construction packages, specification and drawings prior to start the work.
Analyzing the construction schedule and preparing the sequence of work before starting.
Checking and preparation the quantity of manpower & materials needed for the construction as per the work schedule to ensure the smoothness of the work and to avoid any delay on the project schedule.
Coordinating with subcontractors and planning how to execute their works without affecting the other works.
Assigning qualified personnel for the availability of permit to work (PTW).
Supervise, monitoring and assisting the works of skilled workers including the sub contractor’s in their daily activities if it is correctly implemented the construction drawings & specifications.
Coordinating with the other subcontractor’s during execution period to avoid the miss understanding of each team.
Coordinating with clients & QA/QC inspection team.
Walk through and inspect installed components as per approved construction drawings, prepare punch list activities and accomplishing / correct the same.
Liaise the final acceptance of finished work to client/owner.
