Current Responsibilities:
• Responsible for streamlining all activities related to electrical engineering, including estimates for commercial projects, claims administration, order management, shipment & logistics.
• Currently serving as a Claims Engineer for the Middle East region; provide services to all business requirements and ensure optimal handling of all the claims related to logistics, commercial, and quality as per the defined technical & functional specifications.
• Execute customer centric operations & ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & service quality norms; attend to clients (corporate) concerns and undertaking steps for resolving them.
• Investigate issues in coordination with warehouse, management, and plant; resolve the customer issues, includes issue free of cost replacement and facilitate repairs and maintenance as required.

• Manage an average of 1000 claims worth USD 500K per year; evaluate & maintain KPIs set by management for claim resolution & closing.
Earlier Responsibilities:
• Monitored order performance and compliance as per the order & risk management plan and organizational policies and procedures.
• Coordinated with the Order Management Team for the formulation of various reports such as daily order and sales flash, weekly order intake, daily countdown, daily pick and pack report.
• Liaised with the Finance Team to finalize the month-end sales figures.
• Managed distributor portfolio of Qatar and Oman included warehousing, logistics, material management, freight negotiation, shipping process, accountability, documentation & reporting.
• Streamlined all activities related to Dispatch of goods in coordination with the Outbound Team.
• Spearhead direct shipment operations from various plant across Europe and US; successfully handling huge volume of shipments; managed documentation.
• Managed technical specifications of international transportation such as conformity certificates, multiple modes, and varying custom regulations.
• Analyzed the financial impact of proposed logistic changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes or carriers.
• Collaborated with the Shipper, Forwarder and Consignee to ensure timely collection of shipments; successfully managed on an average 60 shipments of worth $ 3 Million per month.
• Carried out all in-house coordination for preparation of quotations, discount calculation, obtaining management approval, assigned price of items in system in coordination with the Pricing Team.
Key Responsibilities
• Acted as an Estimation Engineer; performed comparison studies and technical evaluation of suppliers/sub-contractor’s RFQs as per tender requirements; negotiations with plants.
• Ensured that the Estimate Basis is on “Current Costs” and escalation was properly covered.
• Made quotations and proposed light fixtures in accordance with the required specifications.
