Provide information/education to patients and their families about procedures and treatment plans as required and based on individual needs.
Assist the Medical Practitioner with treatments & examinations.
Assist with non-surgical and surgical treatments/procedures as required.
Administer prescribed medications.
Responsible for sterilization process in accordance to the clinical standard operating procedures where necessary.
Maintain infection control standards according to policies and procedures.
Daily check of designated Emergency Cart.
Monitor all clinical equipment’s for maintenance and repairs.
Maintain daily inventory of drugs.
Maintain weekly inventory of all consumable items.
Provide nursing support in all medical emergencies as required.
Escalate complex issues related to patient services to the Nurse Manager when they arise.
