Subsidiary Order & Additional Freight Information process is that process by which all the relevant information that is required by various entities is available at one place. This Subsidiary Order & Additional Freight Information Process helps shipping department by providing inputs to print Customer facing documents while for the Finance Confirmation Process by giving certain inputs which is used by that process further down the line.

This Subsidiary Order & Additional Freight Information Process helps serve not only the above mentioned purpose but also in other related process. By looking at this Subsidiary Order & Additional Freight Information the business users will be able to get information like the Freight Terms, Intercompany Accounting etc. This Subsidiary Order & Additional Freight Information Process is not limited to Subsidiary Orders but also to all the Shippable Orders that is being created by various Teradyne subsidiaries like Teradyne Europe, Teradyne Japan etc.

Primarily the new records would be created through Sales Order. This form has got two Tabs. One is ‘Additional Subsidiary’ and another is ‘Freight Details’. There are totally two ways in which the data will be populated in this form. It has lot of validations.

This is a pilot migration of forms and reports from lower version into 10g. The whole system divided into two subsystems based on geographically. One is AIS and another one is GCIS. Again each subsystems divided into claims and premium based on functionality. Each subsystem has their own database, server, separate operational unit. One is claims and premium. Migrated all forms and reports into 10g and tested in new environment for both systems. Both systems have more than three hundred forms and more than hundred reports. The migrated forms and reports are resides on Linux server. Migrated perl, pro*c, sql, pl sql and shell scripts along with forms and reports.
