• Conducting negotiation and mediation sessions by promoting and implementing Collaborative Dispute Resolution procedures.
• Applying the legal component of the Information, counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) programme, including for the Syrian and Palestinian responses and preparing legal and protection assessments and analysis regarding the situation for refugees in Lebanon.
• Coaching lawyers and teams on the counselling techniques with respect to professionalism, confidentiality and protection issues.
• Supervising teams in different areas to ensure the consistency of legal advice given by all lawyers according to our legal updates.
• Conducting legal research and draft high quality external and internal memoranda.
• Providing legal consultancy sessions to Syrians and Palestinians pertaining to their rights as refugees (as per the Lebanese Law)
• Preparing and conducting workshops and legal seminars.
• Advise clients on any legal issue arising in connection with transactions and business proposals.
• Ensure commitments/pledges/engagements are met and execute bonds and loan agreements at court in case of non-payment and follow-up the execution procedure.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, memorandum of understanding, lease agreements, real estate sales agreements and procedures, etc…
• Advise on product promotional activities and press material from the legal aspect.
• Establish new corporations and ensure that their legal entities are following basic corporate compliance requirements.
• Assist all departments of the companies in review of legal matters, including personnel, employee relations, and customer relations.
• Represent Companies in connection with litigation and contested administrative matters proceedings.
• Reviewing and writing of conclusions in civil, real estate, trade and criminal law.
• Doing researches on legal subjects.
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating real-estate agreements: rent agreements, sale agreements, promise of sale agreements, mortgage agreements.
• Following up legal reconsiderations at courts, and appearing before local courts and other tribunals on different matters.
• Preparing warnings, drafting pleadings and following up on court cases; reviewing and handling legal documents.
• Presenting oral arguments before all courts in various matters.
• Translating all legal documents, letters and summons received from foreign lawyers.
• Writing and editing articles for the publications.
• Gathering and verifying factual information regarding assignments through interviews, observation, and research.
• Gathering and classifying all interesting news.
