Optimize and re-engineer the processes of Purchasing and logistics in order to upgrade the existing department to manage the whole supply chain of Cimenterie Nationale including the planning, the distribution and the returns management.
Run the daily purchasing and logistics operations, from sourcing to orders follow up and reception, including RFQ’s, RFP’s, offers negotiation, contracts management, forwarders' management and freight management.
Implement a planning process with the internal customers (our departments) to be able to forecast the supply chain needs.
- Manage and optimize the supply chain for all hospital needs (machines, instruments, consumables and drugs).
- Re-engineer defective processes and procedures related to internal procurement and to stock management.
- Supervise the Technical (Maintenance and I.T) department to ensure good operation of the hospital machines and network. Supervise the maintenance and renovation of all hospital premises.
- Supervise cost analysis.
- Elaborate and carry out an action plan to improve the Information System and related procedures.
- Follow up on the maintenance agreements, and re-negotiate unbeneficial contracts.
- Write the specifications and manage the development of new applications.
Manage the support and training for all the Hospital’s users.
- Saudi Electricity Company (www.se.com.sa): Managed 2 teams of 15 members to fully build the Intranet and Internet portals of the company (30, 000 employees). Planning and development phases completed on time.
- SAMA - SADAD Website (www.sadad.com.sa): Managed a team of 6 developers to build SADAD Website using MS CMS, as well as online applications. Project completed on time and within budget.
- Lead a team of 3 developers to automate the center’s five social projects: A total of five social projects involving an average of 10 employees each, and a total of 6000 beneficiaries. Project delivered on time and helped to increase work efficiency and resources traceability.
- Increase accounting department’s productivity and accuracy by introducing and optimizing a new accounting software.
My E-MBA Thesis was focused on supply chain: "How the optimization of the supply chain would create competitive advantage".
