Monitor daily operations, ensure proper client communication and ensure operational cover for all clients.

Handling accounts of key clients and other major clients covering all areas inorder to maintain the existing business relationship.
Attend to enquiries of clients and offer effective and efficient solutions covering by Air, Sea, Land and any other suitable modes.
Coordinating with the sales team with regard to pricing.
Securing best prices from various service providers and overseas agents
Preparing and sending quotes to clients for Air freight, Sea freight and Land freight inquiries.
Following up with clients for the quotes submitted to convert the same into business confirmation.
Sending routing orders of the confirmed bookings to overseas agents and coordinating with them to ensure shipments are handled well and reaching on time at the required destinations.
Handling third country shipments by liaising with overseas agents
Attending to RFQ’s & Tenders. ( UN WFP)
Chasing agents for regular updates for the routed shipments
Sending updated shipment status reports to clients based on their requirements.
Following up with agents for pre alerts
Passing the pre alerts to the concerned Air and Sea freight departments for further process
Coordinating and following up with internal air and sea freight operations departments to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments
Arranging third country job files for billing
Following up with operations and accounts team to make sure jobs are invoiced in time and for timely dispatches of invoices along with supporting documents

Efficiently coordinating and handling the shipments with the Sales team, International GAC offices, Worldwide Agent’s Network, Shipping lines, Suppliers, Customs and Port authorities for smooth cargo movement by Sea, Air and Land.
Sending rate requests to various shipping lines, GAC network and worldwide agents upon getting enquiries from the clients and negotiating for better prices.
Preparing quotations for Air, Sea and Land and Cross trade shipments.
Arranging cargo insurance with the nominated service provider.
Follow up with origin and destination agents on the cargo bookings, sailings and update the clients accordingly.
Sending and receiving pre alerts to and from overseas offices and agents.
Ensuring all shipping documents are checked and reverting to the agents if any amendments are required.
Sending the files with costs and billing details to the billing team for invoicing.
Single point of contact for the World Food Programme (UN - WFP) shipments from Middle East to worldwide destinations. (Major cargo consists of Food Products)
Efficiently negotiating rates with Shipping lines and other service providers for transportation, fumigation, heat treatment, lashing etc.
Placing on line booking with Shipping Lines and getting releases for normal, reefer, IMCO and Out of Gauge (OOG) shipments.
Coordination for WFP shipments with suppliers for on time production and export to meet the shipment deadlines.
Submitting B’s/L online using carrier’s website and Inttra web site.
In charge for organizing and outsourcing jobs including Fumigation of wooden packing, CSC certificates for SOC containers, Insurance for shipments, vehicle stuffing etc.
Handling all type of cargoes such as general cargo, ship spares, oil field equipment, vehicles etc
Processing customs documents in Mirsal -1 & 2 through Dubai Trade software as well adept in using Dubai Chamber of Commerce on line service to process Certificate of Origin.
Arranging customs inspection for the shipments as and when required.
Issuing House Bills of Ladings (H B/L) and vessel certificates.
Submission of exit documents on time with Customs authorities.
Closing and maintaining files as per the company guidelines and ISO standards.

Handling FCL and LCL exports out from UAE to wordwide destinations.

Job Profile:

Effective coordination with Jas worldwide offices and Partner Agent Offices to negotiate and provide the best freight services.
Attend to local and overseas enquiries and passing over to sales department or customer service department respectively for quoting
Make on line booking with carriers for getting empty releases for FCL shipments and booking space with NVO/ Freight forwarders for LCL cargoes.
Arrange transportation for placing empty containers to loading site and make sure full containers are returned to port before the vessel cut off time.
Coordinate collection of LCL cargoes and deliver to respective co-loaders warehouse.
Follow-up with customers/agents for necessary shipping/export documents and processing for further clearance.
Process export documents for local and free zone shipments in the customs software and arrange for DPC payment well before port and vessel cut off.
Send load list to the shipping lines for the FCL export shipments.
Send Bill of Lading details (for Master B/L) to shipping lines /Co - loaders for FCL and LCL shipments.
Prepare House B’s/L as required.
Follow up on draft B’s/L with shippers, destination agents and shipping lines for corrections and confirmations.
Prepare payment for collection of B/L on time following the vessel sailing and arrange delivery to clients against payment as per the agreed terms and conditions.
Invoice the files on time and send invoices to shippers and agent offices.
Issue Original B/L, SEAWAY BILL or Telex release as required.
Send Pre-alert to overseas offices and advise ETA for the executed export shipments.

Point of contact for Freight forwarders and sales team for shipment bookings and rate matters.
Creating bookings and sending the releases to the forwarders.
Requesting IMCO approvals from MISC HQ for the DG cargoes.
Coordinate with intra office departments like operation and documentation.
Updating sales team with booking status, email status etc.
Negotiate with MISC Malaysia office for special rates, space requirements etc.
Follow up with customers to fill up the load list with relevant containers numbers, prior to vessel cut off.
Follow up on payments with the credit customers.

Provides service to clients’ changing insurance needs by selling life, health, and disability insurance.
Develops base for long-term sources of clients by using referrals, occupational, and special-interest groups to compile lists of prospects.
Approaches potential clients by utilizing mailings and phone solicitation; making presentations to groups at company-sponsored gatherings; speaking publicly to community groups on the subject of financial well-being.
Determines clients’ particular needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments; determining extent of present coverage and investments; ascertaining long-term goals.
