Responsible for technical review of the proposal, Preparation of Broking slips and its circulation in the market. Analyzing the quotations received, negotiating the terms and final placement of the business. Also in charge of the Reinsurance broking- Placement of FAC Reinsurance and arranging for Treaty Reinsurance.
Underwriting Audit: Scrutinizing the risk under-written in Fire, Marine Cargo, Marine Hull, Motor, Personal accident, Workman’s Compensation, Engineering, Rural non-traditional and traditional business policies with respect to their renewal, endorsement, cancellation and refunds. Verification of Risk Inspection Report of the Policies involving huge sum insured.
•Claims Audit: Verification of Paid claims under all Line of Business and reporting the leakage etc. to the management
•Verification of Outstanding claims files to ascertain the sufficiency of Provisions / Reserves
•Financial Audit: Ensuring adequate control over premium collection & various payments.
•System Audit: Evaluating and reporting the efficiency and adequacy of Internal Control System.
•Preparation of periodical reports of the various offices under control
•Outstanding Claims & Service Audit: To ensure that adequate provisions are made in regard to outstanding claims and to monitor that efficient and timely services are rendered to various clients
Independent charge of managing the Divisional Office Direct premium of INR 150 Million.
•Underwriting of Property, Marine, Motor, Medical, Travel, Engineering and other lines of business.
•Suggesting risk improvements.
•Preparation of quotes for various risks referred
•Processing & Settlements of claims of all Lines of Business.
•Coordinating with various corporate clients like Hyundai Motor India Ltd., etc., in their insurance needs.
•Coordination with Head Office / Regional Office in regard to Underwriting of Risks and settlement of Claims
•Compliance of Statutory and Internal audit queries etc
Drafting of Fire, Marine, Motor and Miscellaneous Insurance Policies and endorsements.
•Collection of various data and its compilation.
