Implementation and orientation of the HSE management system,
• Identifying and carrying out corrective actions on all incidents and accidents which occurred on the project, including near miss.
• Carry out procedures and permits to work, including hot works, restricted access, confined space, excavations, and lifting appliances and procedures.
• Chairing safety meetings with sub-contractors and there safety representatives.
• Keeping track of time sheets and daily reports
• Implementation and orientation of all health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Carry out risk assessments and checks on tools, plant and other appliances.
• Enforcing security control measures.
• Implementation of all safety devises.
• Recording of all safety statistics
• Making sure that all measure are in place to stop incidents /accidents.
• Coordinating with the local authorities.
• Training of new safety personnel. Abrasive Wheel training Qualitative Fit Testing of Respiratory Products.
• Carrying out weekly safety audits.
• Over viewing the main structure works regarding safety procedures and carrying out corrective actions.
• In charge of the erecting and dismantling of tower cranes and mobile cranes my role is the appointed person. Preparing and arranging lifting plans, conducting crane meetings fortnightly.
