 Participate in Fire drills as a way to stay alert and up to date with job duties
 Supporting the development of Occupational Health and Safety policies and
programme.
 Advising and instructing staff on various safety related topics.
 Conducting risk assessment and enforcing preventive measures.
 Stop any unsafe acts or process that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
 Conducting drills to check physical readiness of staff and also to do integrity check
on safety and Fire Fighting devices in case of real emergency. To familiarize staff
with designated Muster point.
 Make sure right PPE is used when carrying out any assignment within the
premises.
 Conducting HSE Induction for new occupant and refresher session for staff in Eko
Towers

• Coordinating site engineers and riggers for MTN phase-2 expansion project using
Aviat radios solution.
• Coordinating site engineers and riggers for MTN phase-3 expansion project using
Huawei RTN XMC-3 solution.
• Installation of complete Hybrid power (AC, DC and battery banks) system to
achieve stable supply on site.
• Supervision of microwave link alignment to achieved expected RSSI
• Signing of Acceptance form with equipment vendor after completion of project.
• Coordinating internal Quality control personnel to clear snags on site.

 Supervision of sub-contractors handling projects e.g Globacom and MTN fiber
optics projects.
 Coordinating Engineers/Riggers handling all Huawei installations e.g MTN
Rural telephony project, EMTS region-3 BTS and MW swap project (3G and 2G BTS).
 Coordinating Engineers/Riggers on Ericsson 3G BTS installation for Airtel.
 Supporting Engineers remotely on field whenever a problem is encountered or
sometimes travel down to resolve the issue especially if the problem is related
to software on MW and BTS.
 Generating comprehensive report of projects for meetings and for update
purposes.

• Site survey for Wimax BTS finalization (Huawei Wimax BTS-DBS3900).
• Installation of AC/DC power equipment to achieve required power supply.

Commissioning of Wimax 4G BBU (Huawei) and bringing it on air.
• Provisioning of transmission resources for Wimax BTS interconnects and core
networks (Huawei Microwave).
• Liaising with equipment vendors to insure Project.
• Integration of transmission Access networks (Huawei RTN series).
• Testing of microwave link to confirm the compliance to plan designed.
