# Currently serving as Lead Instrument Engineer and back up Project in charge for the Gas Train 5 Project (GT-5) in KNPC, effectively steering the responsibilities of Project Estimation, Bidding, Project Management, Planning, Cost control, manpower management and monitoring of Field Activities.
#Involvement in all field activities and provided technical guidelines to team for project execution.
Around 5 years of Construction, Commissioning, start-up and Maintenance expertise (EPC and Shutdown Projects) at industries like Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Pulp & Paper as an Instrumentation Engineer/Supervisor.
• Authorized PTW Holder and familiar with HSE procedures, policies and permit requirements.
• Excellent knowhow in Engineering drawings like P&ID, Hook up drawings, Isometrics, Instrument Location plan, JB wiring schedule etc.
• Familiar with Engineering standards ISA, IEEE, ASTM, ASMI, ANSI, NEMA, IEC, ATEX, API.
• Understanding of open and closed loop control, related logics and interlocks.
• Understanding of PHA, LOPA, HAZOP, SIL and hazardous area classification.
• Involved in installation and commissioning of Bentley Nevada BN 3500 machine monitoring system (MMS) and integrating with Existing DCS/ESD System..
• Experienced in installation, Calibration, loop checking and commissioning of various Field instruments associated with measurement and control.
• Know-how in altering or designing range and span of Pressure, Differential pressure and Flow transmitters as per site requirements.
• Experienced in installation and commissioning of heat tracing projects (Electrical).
• Expertise in Motor control circuits and associated relay logic.
• Experience in GC Analyzer installation, commissioning and integration with ESD/DCS.
• Expertise in 475 communicator, Fluke calibrator, DRUCK Pressure calibrator and TK3-2e.
• Experience in installation and wiring of Foundation Field bus field instruments.
• Installation and maintenance experience in F&G (Fire and Gas), DCS, PLC and ESD systems.
• Exposure in stroke checking and Functional test of automated valves.
• Maintenance experience in coal fired water tube power boilers and steam turbo generators.
• Experience in signature test, troubleshooting, maintenance and calibration of control valves.
• Basic knowledge of controller selection, tuning and Control valve selection and sizing.
• Knowledge in system configuration and commissioning of various Fieldbus, HART devices.
• Knowledge in DCS Hardware designing, Control loop configuration, integration of subsystems with BPCS.
• Basic Knowledge in HMI tag definition schemes, Setting and testing of alarms, reports and trends.
• Knowledge in Control Signal transmissions and Communication Protocols like FF, HART, Profibus.
• Preparation of I/O database, Control cable wiring schedule, Instrument datasheet, Location Layouts.
• Preparation and review of Inspection Test Plans and As-Built documents, Assisting FAT and SAT.
• Preparation of Calibration report, meggering report, Loop sheets, Loop Checking report etc.
