- Managing the noon daily grocery UAE operations and being part of dark store launch team along with scale up of grocery ecommerce vertical followed by Noon Instant hyperlocal.
- Successfully scaled the grocery business, solving for operations, profitability, customer & partner experience.
- Leading the country operations team to drive top-in-class grocery delivery service levels, enhance shipping experience with consistent uphold NPS, safety and compliance, as well as enable product management, product strategy, customer & partner experience.
- This role reports to noon grocery's business head and oversees several functions (operations excellence, central control, delivery optimization & performance, dispatch, vendor operations, program management, fulfillment operations, shipping pricing and logistics products) across UAE.
- Key focus on cost optimization, logistics and fulfillment profitability, data enablement, process development & new product roll outs.
- Central control - Heading & managing the operation centrally with regards to planning, controlling, monitoring all fulfillment activities for MENA region.
- Setting up process to align warehouse operational activities along with commercial, logistics, seller & customer support team.
- Saudi launch of fulfillment center operations for Riyadh, Jeddah & Dammam at KSA
- Product development Execution of WMS implementation & handling developers projects operationally for all fulfillment processes
- Capacity planning Peak planning, contingency planning with hourly volume plan, staffing plan.
- Automation Work flow automation through GRN reports, RTV generation & conveyor sync with WMS documents to move as per source & destination of items.
- Food & Beverages Implementation and execution of grocery ecommerce fulfilment center marketplace operations hubs at UAE.
- Peak planning, contingency planning with hourly volume plan, staffing plan.
- To develop warehouse operations policies BRD/SOP, layouts & provide adequate information to every warehouse staff.
- Develop key performance indicators to measure productivity & effectiveness of operations with RCA of any issues.
- Staffing - by recruiting, orienting & training by coaching, counseling & disciplining employees with appraising in job results.
- Ensure timely correspondence, reports, statistics related to the fulfillment operations is shared across at all levels.
- Handling inbound, inventory, outbound, return to vendor and customer return operation with efficient scheduling & maintaining standard accuracy in quality for all warehouses.
-Involved in planning, developing, organizing, directing, managing and evaluating the operations, order management and procurement procedure.
-Managing procurement reporting, follow ups from sales team and vendor for the quick arrangement of marketplace order items.
-Re-validation of TAT for customer service and order management team with order confirmation and further procedure from first to last mile logistics operation.
-Handling inbound, inventory and outbound warehouse operation with efficient scheduling & maintaining standard accuracy in quality of operational services.
-Implementing operation system update of warehouse management system swapping with manpower management.
-Monthly stock audit and sharing data with product management team for inventory ageing and return to vendor for consignment stock and defective customer returns or damaged products during quality assurance.
-Sharing deliberates of report with finance team for shipment receiving and order deliveries.
-Triggering or highlighting key concern areas in relation to inventory, requiring prompt corrective action by analyzing historic inventory movements.
-Ensure timely correspondence, reports, statistics related to the warehouse operations is shared across at all levels.
-Coordinating the flow of data and information between the Operation department and other departments to ensure optimum use of resources and maximize productivity.
-Implementing WMS & executing process training by coaching & counseling.
-Generated standard operating procedure for eCommerce procurement.
-Planning of fulfillment center layout & operational stations for Inbound, inventory, outbound.
-Setting up marketplace standard legal agreement for return to vendor and customer returns guidelines of customer-initiated returns.
-Capacity, Labor and Shift planning for warehouse operations team.
-Assigning turnaround times for each department of warehouse fulfillment procedure.
-Setting up process to align warehouse operational activities.
-Launching order fulfillment & dispatch to Iraq from Dubai facility.
-Heading and managing the order management, inventory & audits with regards to planning, controlling, monitoring all major activities starting from put away and till handing them to the outbound team for dispatch & conducting daily audits to ensure maximum accuracy.
-Managing teams and ensuring that they bring out maximum productivity while maintaining high quality standards & Setting up process to align inbound, inventory and outbound activities of warehouse for smooth, efficient and controlled flow of operations and contributing towards the execution of the process.
-Handling queries and complaints relating to products and servicing of return to vendor, production sampling & transfer orders for different reasons at the operations level.
-Coordinating the flow of data and information between the Operation Department and corporate office to ensure optimum use of resources and maximize productivity.
-Reconciling and rectifying different issues that arise during the work flow within the department at different levels with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on stock variance thereby taking necessary corrective action.
-Triggering or highlighting key concern areas in relation to inventory, requiring prompt corrective action by analyzing historic inventory movements.
- Managing warehouse control system with advance planning, scheduling and capacity requirement planning's.
